The are style is great, and the audio was great as well, but I don't really enjoy it as much, I think I keep dying too much...

Love the art style and the concept of the in-game mechanisms being tied with time is really cool. I had an idea similar to this while brainstorming, so it makes me happy to see it executed to such a good degree :)

The art style is really cool and was surprised by the voice acting, cool stuff!

Cool idea, but i couldnt get past the level with the spikes because i couldnt tell what tile i was on

Submitted(+1)

Nice idea! I was totally not expecting a voice acting and such a deep narrative

Developer

Thank you so much !

Lovely! I love the mix of real-time and tick based puzzle you guys got going here. I also love the character sprite being 2d in this setting, very cute. I'm not sure if I actually completed the game, I got to an ending with 280 steps/ticks remaining, and got some dialogue sounding like I didn't make it in time and a return to menu/play again queue. Skill issue on my end?

Developer

Hey! Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the game <3 As for the ending, we wanted to add something different for the completion but ran out of time :( good news here, you probably did complete the whole game so far!

cool game and making the camera rotate is a very clever idea i enjoy it but need more check points

Developer

thank you I appreciate the feedback :) we'll try to see if we can implement some more frequent respawn points!

It was bit hard to see and intuit the exact state of the game, which led to me more or less trying things a bit randomly, but apart from that the presentation is nice and the idea is fun, congrats! :)

Developer

hey! yeah we got this feedback a lot, we'll surely try to make it clearer :) thanks for playing woooo

Fun little game with great artwork. would love to see more levels!

Developer

you can COUNT on it eheh

Submitted(+1)

Very impressive, I enjoyed it although I found it a bit too easy. Also I think if you move fast enough you can cross a tile as the spikes come out without getting hurt. But that's just minor things, the game is really solid and fun to play.

Developer

that's what we like to hear! implementing more difficult levels would be something very interesting indeed :D

What a really well polished game. I dig the art of the character and the environment design. Though, the fireballs do make things frustrating, especially with the pseudi-isometric view making it more difficult, and the fact I have to start all over again with no way to recover time gives me little incentive to try again outside of just wanting to see where the story goes. Still, for a game jam project, this is still hella impressive.

Interesting idea, but the projectiles in the third layer not being based on moves and the move counter being global makes the game kind of frustrating. Very pretty art though!

Developer

Hey! Thanks for the feedback :) interesting you should mention the projectiles because making them based on the timer was our initial idea but we scrapped that because in some casse it made every tick very long, preventing players from taking a move for a short while. We surely might want to revisit that!

Great aesthetic and really fun concept! The first fire section got me more times than I'd like to admit haha

Developer

it was a pain to test too ahah glad you liked the game <3

Really good game. I had a lot of fun. The only thing is the camera makes it hard to either see tiles if they're blocked or hard to tell where you are or where you can go. Seriously great work though. Looks like a full game

Developer

hey! thanks for the feedback <3 did you try rotating the camera with Q/E? still, I agree that the camera could be worked on more along with maybe some see-through shader. thanks again :)

Submitted(+2)

Loved the gameplay ! It was a bit hard to know on which tile I was sometimes tho

Developer

thanks for the feedback we’ll figure out how to make it more clear! and thanks for playing <3

Woaahh how did you make this in four days? This is such high quality! I really enjoyed the gameplay, it wasn't too challenging and reminded me of Monument Valley.  Super good!

Developer

glad you enjoed it, love monument valley so thanks for that too ahah

Yoo this is fire ! Kinda reminded me of N64 Style. I can play this all day !! Great work btw the ark work is fire !

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. We really appreciate the kind words!

The intro is impressive! Nicely animated and with voiceover too (wow!). The itch page is very nicely done up! I think it would help to put the controls near the top though. Very atmospheric game with a cute character design. Had an issue in one of the levels where my character seemed to keep falling off the moving platform and restarting? I really like the world design and the mechanics concept. Overall great job!

Developer(+1)

thank you, voice from @bazibon really helped taking it up a notch. and dang that platform bug is haunting my night but I swear I’m going to get it ahahah!

Submitted(+2)

it’s a really good concept, i like it a lot especially love the art direction the 2.5D view great job

Developer

thank you so much :D

Lol I didn't even know, you could rotate the camera, until I saw comments xD. Anyways brilliant game, with step being counted down. I have also made puzzle game with steps countdown.
Awesome game, considering the time limit.

Developer

thanks <3 yeah it looks like we should make controls more clear on the page and maybe add a short tutorial in game eheheh anyways glad you like it!
