Amazing idea! Very clever use of the theme and the game is ton of fun! The lever is a bit too similar do the spikes that kill you, which got me confused for a sec, that aside, i loved the game! congrats
Really creative idea, and using silhouettes kind of remind me of LIMBO. the platformers physics tho were pretty frustrating and jumps that shouldve logically happened for some reason made me stuck or didn't go through. However the music is really atmospheric and the sfx was punchy. well done, this is an amazing game!
Thanks for playing! Limbo was indeed one of our inspiration when we thought of the game's style! Also, sorry for the buggy / unresponsive physics system, it is definitely something that I'll try to improve post-jam. I spent a long time during the jam trying to get it working as best as I could, but I am not very experienced with platformer-type games and handling the physics with the rotating platform was a bit harder than I first thought haha.
The idea is unique.
There's something special about this game.
I think if you refine this game further, it could turn into something truly amazing.
very cute idea, though the platforming physics could definitely use some tightening up. Level design is also pretty good!
You guys are masochists of level design! lol. I mean, it's good, but man. No idea how you thought this up. Good job.
Thanks! When we thought of the game idea, we didn't really consider level design at first. It's true that it was much harder to come up with interesting levels than we first thought haha. I spent something like 4 or 5 hours fiddling around to find the idea for the last level, it's also why the game doesn't have many levels :<
Really smart and creative idea, winding the clock is satisfying and everything looks incredible. So much potential here, hope to see it expanded post-jam!
Really smart and creative idea! I want to see this concept become a full puzzle platformer game, hopefully you keep working on this!
I had some trouble recognizing "harmful" platforms at the start, maybe you could make them a bit more aggressive? The ability to speed up and reverse the clock really gave depth to what could've been a "simple" idea.
Great execution and a perfect jam game that could be expanded upon. There was some slight lag but nothing that could interefere much with the gameplay, charming and fun ^^
Thanks for the feedback! This lag issue is definitely something that I'll investigate further. It's strange as I really don't see why it happens. I checked the profiler on the web build, but didn't get any meaningful result. I'll have to check on another PC.
Otherwise, you are very right about the spikes, they needed to be small, but now they don't really look "spiky" at all.
Cool concept! I think this entry opens up a few good ideas for fun mechanics!
Great concepts. Haha we have similar approaches for this year's theme but i really liked ur rewind idea it was satisfyign to get the first level but i think an easier progression to those levels would definetly be best way to approach level design so its a great barrier for novice players. enjoyed it though!
It's very possible for the game to have lag issues on some computer, we didn't have time to get a proper playtest on other hardware. The physics system is also quite buggy at times if you are talking about that (I really tried to make it work for like half the gamejam, but I think that I would have needed a week to cover all edge cases).
Still, thanks for the feedback!
Loved the concept, and I'd love to see you expand on that time rewind mechanic im other ways
