lot of fun everywhere in this adventure. It's dripping creativity and is always unexpected, without being too much or too hard to be delivered. Great adventure indeed. Maybe le dugeon map can improve  a little?

Fun creatures and NPCs! I dig the hexmap. The hexsail probably works better for me than the dungeon--it's so hard to fit both things into just a couple of pages.

An extremely efficient module. This should be peoples' benchmark for writing short adventures - it gets across everything you need to know, the layout allows a lot of information to get into not a lot of space, the text formatting makes parsing text extremely legible, and establishes just enough information about the game world that lets this be consistent but be a unique experience at each table.

Delightful little hexcrawl, with quite a nice bit of worldbuilding here that manages to be simple but very evocative. The furlin settlement and the heretic worshippers of the orca are my favorite bit.

This is such a cool locations with a compelling hook and some excellent atypical creatures to come across! Suffice to say it’s going STRAIGHT into my MöRK BORG sandbox

I like the overall package! Always cool when there's a mini dungeon included. Would have been a good opportunity to play around with interconectivity a bit more. But otherwise nice!

Thanks for the feedback!

Where are you missing interconectivity? Between factions/locations, or specifically in the dungeon?

More so in the dungeon. It wouldn't need heaps but I feel like the secret door currently doesn't make heaps of sense. An alternative (maybe hidden) entrance or exit would add something too. You want the players to go "ooooh" and feel accomplished if they figure it out. And it should provide an edge or a reward.

Great to look at and very usable. Amazing job!

I fell in love with this little adventure.

It seems one could almost run it in LucasArts-mode without lethal combat, just letting the players explore the going-ons in that bubble of ice, water and snow.

Developer(+1)

As a fan of the classic Lucas Arts point & click games I take that as the highest compliment! Thanks!

Let me just fetch my Guybrush Threepwood pirate jacket (Yes. The blue one.) and let me assure you it’s exactly meant like that.

I feel so understood. Thank you :)

Maps & art are great. Incredibly economical use of space- from the varied hexes, to the plethora of bestiary entries. Loved the faction play here too, felt very much alive! Fantastic work!

Solid adventure in basically every respect. Clear layout, nice public domain art, good theming, enough meat that you can play comically or tragically. Good stuff <3

Always good to see a hex crawl. I think you nailed it. Also, I like that bestiary a lot. I specifically enjoyed the Furlin.

I’m wowed by how much you managed to fit in here and everything is so clear! This would be so easy to pick up and run for 1-2 sessions with little prep. Great stuff!

Great stuff, this will be really easy to read and drop into a game, the locations are evocative and fun, with some fun characters and creatures, could easily spend a while in this setting and is perfect for a mini-campaign or a nautical game!

Such clean layout and presentation, it looks really polished, it inspires me to think about layout and scope a lot more!

A lot packed in just three pages! A lot of encounter, a nice marine hexcrawl, and even a dungeon... Feels like a very complete adventure.

"Words on the Rime Wind" is a hex crawl, dungeon, small bestiary, random encounter table all rolled into one. The author expertly tucks all of this very game-able content into a very small space for use with any OSR-adjacent game.

The use of black and white public domain artwork blends perfectly with the hand drawn hex crawl map. It all works together well. (I love the hex map. It's charming and simple in the best possible ways.)

This is a stellar entry. Fantastic work!

Enjoyed this - a great hex crawl, environmental and resource challenges. Locations, NPCs and antagonists all ooze flavour. Particularly liked the bowhed whale - I'm a sucker for a giant chatty creature.

impressive job to make just 3 pages.  Good travel rules and could work with any games that fits well with the frosty vibe.

You write very effectively, providing a quite grandiose adventure in just 3 pages. You even included a full set of travel rules! It's probably possible to run a multi-session adventure in this region. Mad respect :)

Excellent job. The module feels quite fleshed out despite only being 3 pages. Having blank hexes along with a well stocked encounter table makes the module feel big but not cluttered, I can imagine some nice beats between scenarios.

Additionally, I think the Wind Effects table is cool. At first I thought the party might not interact with it more than once after learning they can't leave, but the mix of good/bad effects might bring them back (I could also see a party low on rations taking advantage of the perimeter winds as a quick way to travel, should they want to go counterclock wise)

A lot going on here! I love ocean and artic settings and this one really has a lot of nice content. The hexcrawl map looks really good, I love the little arts. Poor Børt looks sad ☹️
