Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
Yes, all manually created by myself (except for the used fonts obviously).
Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
No, I used a sound effect asset pack here from itch.
How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
The theme of this card game is to build a fantasy kingdom. A core mechanic is to replace ("crumble") your existing cards with new ones, representing the "unstable" fate of a kingdom.

Very simple card game. I only played with the first deck since my brain is not functioning yet, but the visuals on this are great and the game feels polished. Really loved it!
Thank you so much! Great to hear you've played the first deck and found it simple, as that was intended to serve as the introduction to the mechanics. :)
This game is fun to play!
Great to hear, thank you!
Hey! that' a great game, I am not a fan of the card games but I think this game is understandable than most of the card games. I don't know if I made an efficient kingdom lol. Anf for the rate part, I liked your art style and audio selectment. It was a great experience
Thank you for your kind words! :)
This was a solid entry. Im not normally a card game type of person so it took me a few rounds to figure out how things worked. Still really couldn't tell if I was doing well or not though but I did make it to the end of each round if that means anything! The cards looked great. Sfx were solid and tactile. I think a practice round that taught the player synergies and how cards actually behaved (I read the card's flavor text but that didn't clear up a lot for me), I think that would have made it even more enjoyable to play!
Thank you for playing and your detailed feedback, very helpful! I agree, any post-jam extended version needs a better intro. In the current version, I tried to support exploring the mechanics with the tooltips but I think these are mostly effective with players that have played many similar card games, judging by the comments here. Thank you again!
Sounds like you have a gameplan which is awesome! Looking forward to seeing how it turns out
Oh this was really well put together, interactions feel good, visuals are super pleasing. I think my only feedback is that I had to read the itchio page to understand the game, a quick onboarding could help. But overall super fun!
Thank you for your kind words and feedback! :)
Gorgeous art and UI! The pop-up text when you hover your mouse over a card is super nice too.
Thank you, glad to hear the UI work was worth it!
I like the different card effects from each deck. It really made the gameplay unique for each one of them. The art was also beautiful, and it really made each one of them distinct. However, unless I missed it, I wished there was a foreseeable outcome in the game instead of just giving me my total score. I do agree with some comments here that the game will also benefit from having a leaderboard. Otherwise, well done!!
Thank you for playing and your feedback! For the jam scope, I went with the simple highscore but I agree that a more interesting goal or result state would be nice. Other people suggested a progression system, which I think could be combined with that idea in the future.
Not my cup of teaa but I can’t argue the quali-teaaa Lovely art on the cards. Crispy sfx. Nice colors. Overall solid entry very polished
Ah thank you for the nice words on the "quali-tea", in particular if this isn't your favourite flavour! :)
The art on the cards was well made. And such a large amount of different cards, effect, and combos for a game made in such a short time is impressive. Well done.
Thank you for playing and your kind comment! :)
I really love deck building games! Love the art on the cards!
Thank you so much! :)
Good job. Once I figured out how to play, I broke my own record a few times.
Great to hear, thank you! :)
I think the game could've benefited from a leaderboard, or at least displaying your own high score in the main menu. I did really like the look and feel of the game. You can never go wrong with a card game in a game jam. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I agree, a leaderboard and/or highscore tracker would have been great. I had also planned to display some "end of run" statistics but didn't make it in time. However, I've been working on that over the last two days and will update the game after the jam voting period.
its rly nice game i enjoyed it a lot
Thanks a lot! :)
Great game. The visuals are gorgeous. It's a pleasure to play :)
Thank you so much! :)
107 on the Aspiring Monarch one but I played a few times on each. I'm not 1000% percent sure what I'm doing but it FEELS good and I do love me some card games. I also do like the crumble concept and the look of the game overall as well. Great work!
Thank you so much! This is the best score posted in the comments here so far, I think. :D
I will check out your game later today, off to my day job now.
Oh thanks! I am curious if you have your own idea/metrics for what a "good" score is? I want to mess around with it a little more to see how high I can go.
Not really! This is one aspect that I couldn't focus on as much as I wanted to due to the time constraints of the jam. But at least I realized in time that the decks feel much better with more copies of the same card, as it reduces the impact of "bad rng".
The highest score I've seen is from my brother, who scored 257 on the Dark Sky deck with two Giants stomping over two Hovels drawn early on. :D
Tell your brother thanks for the inspiration! Here's my last try on the Dark Sky deck: )

Sorry, I played a little more! Thanks again for making an enjoyable game!

Wow, thanks for playing more and sharing your highscore. You clearly take the lead here as the Dark Sky Champion! And I wouldn't have guessed that a score like that is possible right now. :D
Solid, polished entry. It reminds me of the card game Fantasy Realms.
Thank you, appreciate that! Fantasy Realms is a great game - I haven't played it in a while but I remember that I was impressed by how much depth they achieved with fairly simple card mechanics.
Very cool game, took me a while to get the hang of it but when it clicked it was fun finding a good strategy.
The card cover art is very awesome btw! good job.
Thank you! Means a lot coming from someone who also made a great card game! :D
Fun game! awesome polish and brilliant art/audio. Awesome way of interpreting the theme! Reminds me of skystone smash from skylanders. Brilliant tactic building game. Great job! Very fun to play and an awesome game overall.

Great to hear, thank you for playing and your nice comment! :) Checking out your game now!
This was more fun than I expected. Interesting approach on the card-games genre. At first I was a bit lost, but then I found my pace.
I was able to score 70 in the Aspiring Monarch one.
I can see myself playing this as an arcade-like experience in my free time.
Congrats!
Amazing to hear, thank you so much!
The 'crumbling' grid mechanic is such a fresh twist on kingdom building! Shifting cards down to unlock crumble and combo synergies creates awesome tactical decisions. As a fellow card game dev, I really appreciate this kind of mechanics design. I think you'd enjoy mine too if you get a chance to check it out! Great job on this! [Rated]
Thank you for your comment, very happy to hear that the game mechanics resonated with a fellow card game dev! I've played and rated your game earlier, great job as well!
