Wow, super fun game! My mouse is broken, so I really struggled to use the animals, but charging to kill everyone was not that bad. I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for playing sorry about your mouse
Very fun game! Really enjoyed the animal buddies as weapons, and that you can even stack them. One thing I noticed (unless it's intentional) is that hearts don't necessarily disappear when you touch them, so I was able to get a lot of health out of a single heart. Otherwise I can only really repeat the comments below. Nice job!
thank you for playing yeahh not intentional but if it made you survive more, I don't mind kind of a hard game anyways it needs rebalancing maybe it made it easier, so I see it as a postive
This is probably one of the funnest games in the jam. That being said, there are many things that can be improved.
I think it would be really useful if there was some sort of retical. It's easy for the cursor to get lost in the chaos.
The dialogue gets really repetitive really quickly. It could use either more variety or less frequency.
Missed opportunity to have multiple kinds of animals on your back.
The boss's music just cuts out after a while??? Make sure the music loops there. I was left in silence for a long time.
MIXELS WHYYYY!!! You need a more cohesive art style, my friend.
Overall, this is probably a 9/10 for a game jam game. I'm just better at criticism than compliments :P
lol thank you for playing and the criticism I welcome it as mama duck welcomed you
I am not an artist so sorry about the art lol did not know Mixels was a thing
I agree about the dialogs
and did not know about the boss music sorry and all of the bosses bugs
and thank you for the compliments and the criticisms
I love this kind of games (have played tboi game a lot) and I can say I really enjoyed this one, it has a really positive atmosphere! The interactions between the animals (and the spider, of course), as well as every bit of dialogue in the game, were genuinely funny to read, and even made me laugh at times)
There's also an interesting mechanic with stacking animals (for example, 3 ducks), but when a "weapon" drops regardless, it acts as a single copy when picked up again. Also, I somehow managed to make the Boss disappear when he fell through a hole in the floor, but after a restart i defeated him.
thank youuuu for beating him I thought no one would. mama duck is definitely proud and hope you live happily with your new spider roommate
the unstacking was kind of intentional, so you have some consequences of letting your little friend get snatched
and sorry about the boss there are so many bugs in this game I stopped working on it on the last day because something came up and I did not get to fix everything
Pretty funny from the moment you hear the music. And I love the alive, animated levels. Very nice approach to charge.
Thank you for playing and kind words
This was a pretty fun experience! I loved the theme and how everything came together.
The VOD for the review is linked below, and will be available for 60 days: (sorry if I seem a little sleepy, it's been quite a week!)

thaank you for playing I can't wait to watch it :D
you losing the duck at the boss is a bug but yeahh thanks for playing
Cool game! It’s really fun to play. I really liked the shooting and charging combo it's great :D
Thanks for playing
love the goofy music and premise! Was confused whether my duck was shooting eggs whenever I left-clicked or if it was meant to be automatic? Anyways, I enjoyed smashing through enemies. I think having some kind of effect or death animation could be a nice way to spice things up and make it even more satisfying.
Umm there is a tutorial in the beginning you just left click on where you want to shoot and there is an animation of the duck shooting the egg funny thing happens when you shoot down you can see the mama ducks butt just don't tell her I told you thanks for playing
and thank you for the advice on the death animation might try adding it when I can
So good! Was loads of fun to go charging through all those enemies. I genuinely could do this for hours. The music is perfect for the tone of the game and really eggs you on to keep going. Great submission!
I am so glad you enjoyed glad you enjoyed lol and awesome pun your the goat
Map system is awesome. Good work!
you are awesome if the goblin Queen was in charge this would not happen to our poor goat
That was fun. The setting, game design and music are working hand in hand, making this game quite ridiculous. A bit more game juice would be nice to get more feedback of whats happening :)
Well I tried my best for the feedback there is a force being applied and a sound effect of the goat but I forgot to do the colour blink change thingy I would love to hear any other ways I could give the juice regardless thank you for the feedback and the kind words glad to hear that you enjoyed it
Awesome game! There should be little ways to manipulate how the enemies are standing, because getting multiple lined up for a charge is really satisfying
thank you for playing and the kind words just do circles around them, and they will group up lol
This was super fun and charming and I loved the music. Took me a sec to work out what was going on but when I did I had a blast. Great job!
glad to hear you had fun :D thank you for playing
