Super cute game!! The art is absolutely adorable, and the monkey voice acting is amazing XD
I also really loved the part at the end where all the suspects line up! It was so cute, and the monkeys blaming each other sounded hilarious. I loved it!

How does the game fit the theme?
Monkey Daycare is an observation and strategy game where you manage enclosures full of mischievous monkeys. Unfortunately, these monkeys do not behave.
They steal supplies, start fights and sabotage the daycare constantly, and every monkey has a different level of trustworthiness.
When an incident occurs, you must study their accusations, remember their behaviour and decide who is telling the truth.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The game was made in Unity and uses TextMesh Pro, and third-party fonts. All game-specific programming, artwork, animation, music and sound effects were created by the team during the jam.

What the heck!! This was made in one week??? I love it! The art-style is fantastic and I would expect to see it in a professionally polished game. The gameplay is really fun too and I like the monkey court system a lot. There's just so much charm!
I don't know if this is just how it shows up on my browser, but I thought I'd mention that the embedded Unity fullscreen button fights with the itch.io fullscreen button, and that made it a bit confusing to actually fullscreen the game lol.

Pawn ScumGreat visuals & animations and its cool to see another baby sitting type game in the jam lol. I had a little bit of a hard time getting to grips with the incident/accusation system and understanding how my monkeys were getting naughty mostly because the first incident happens so quickly when you start playing. I think if there was just a little bit longer for me to get to grips with the cameras/cleaning/watching/jailing naughty monkeys before the accusation game came into play, i would have enjoyed it more, especially since failing to understand it causes an instant game over. Overall really cool though, feels like its just a few little tweaks away from an old browser game i woulda logged a tons of hours into.

Angle ShootI really liked the sound effects, and the visuals are great fun (especially the little animation of the monkeys being catapulted, haha). But I think there was just something missing for me to really grasp what the game was all about, because every time, I’d either vote for the monkey in the spotlight or, the rest of the time, for the monkey with the most votes from the others, without really managing to figure out any other strategies.

Satan's Little BratSuper cute game. Really love it. Very interesting concept and gameplay. Appreciate the efforts in the animations as well. One thing if I had to nitpick is maybe the "map" UI is not very obvious because it's black on a relatively dark part of the BG (the green leaves).

Will or NotWow this is great. One of my favorites this jam when it comes to the different rating aspects. Super consistent visuals, great fitting audio, a fun game play loop and enough twist on the theme to make it feel fresh again. Excellent!

Critter Plazathis is so so so so incredible. I would genuinely love a Tamagotchi style full release of this game! I love all the little monkeys and the fact that they each have their own small personality, even with subtle features. great great job!

Apocalypse BouncerAnother greatest game ever has struck this jam with some of the greatest cutscenes, opening music, and charm you will ever see in a video game. I adored the gameplay loop of this, and was giggling pretty much the whole time! My only major criticism is that I didn't realize there were multiple cameras at first, and that could've been tutorialized better. Feels like a very complete game, with a lot of love and care put into making sure the direction is received in a consistent and funny way, awesome work!
