How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the “Trust No One” theme because the player must rely on information from two characters, knowing that one of them is lying. The player has to compare their statements with the clues on the bomb and decide who to trust before cutting the safe wire.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Nothing

I like the puzzle elements of this game! I learned not to trust the people but to read the manual. It's short, but perfect for the jam. The different puzzles also provided nice variety!

This feels like a game that covers some theme choices. Good thinking though. I like it. But i cannot input the right frequency of the third stage. Clicking up or down button didn't do anything. Visually very appealing with the green aesthetic and the bomb models are not disappointing either. Good submission!

Rated your game! Here's some feedback if you're interested:

It's not super clear the first bomb was conveying information with the shapes since the angle of it makes it looks like it's part of the background. So I didn't notice and just relied on the dialog for the first two puzzles 🤷‍♂️

There's a conflict with how the player needs to learn what to do but also be put under pressure with doing what they learned. My suggestion would be to have the first round play out as is without the timer. But then once they solve it, then there's a new, longer sequence of shapes as well as new dialog that affects the shapes, and only now should you put in the timer. This way, the player can apply what they know under time pressure that they are under some control over.

Cool concept but persons are really out of place we dont need those. Thus game' theme is not supporting the game.

Cool concept with the two helpers—you're always wondering who's going to turn out to be the liar this time :D

The game felt a bit short to me, but overall I really enjoyed it!

Cool game, but short.

I just hate morse code, but you did it well, i could easily figure it out.

The people didn't really help me, the levels were solveable just with the manual, but still a good concept.

Good job!

Very cool game! I missed that the combos were generated at random so I could play more that one time

A lil short, wish could have reused some things to give a lil bit variety but oh well. Still enjoyed it!

Very nice game, a bit short but i understand it is for a jam. Loved the visuals, and the different types of bombs.

It was a really great and fun game. I liked the concept and the graphics. Plus, the fact that you did it all by yourself—that was amazing. great job!

I like the idea; maybe the brain is just a friend playing so many games. I died a lot. I know it is a logic puzzle and there is a way to solve it, but I'm just too tied to find it.

Nice submission

Really nice, didn't expect it to work so well. The different set up and mini game are enternaning. I am just sad the answer are hardcoded so when I fail I can just try the other one. I think some controls can be a little upgraded, but overwall it work smoothly and really well

Don't hesitate to test our game : /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4942051

Great game I rate it

It's so short?? I think the lying part could've been more fleshed out, and the manual balanced the game out as well, as evidence who's telling the truth. I can't believe it's so short, this was good! Nice job! ^^
