How does the game fit the theme?
The game itself and the characters in it actively lie to the player
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Really nice and polished platformer! I liked the idea that you can’t fully trust even the game’s own rules, and the puzzles make really good use of that theme.
The only thing is that at one point I got stuck and didn’t immediately realize how to restart the level. I think a small restart button on the screen, or maybe a hint after the player has been stuck for a while, would make situations like that much clearer. Other than that, this feels like a very polished jam game!
smooth controls, nice platforming, and cute artsyle :D good job!
This was so cute! And I love the creativity you put into it to make a platformer fit the theme. Good job!!
Simple but really effective and creative way to go with the theme. Everyone and everything in the game are liars. Great job on this one!
Well polished platformer game. Nice job! Game mechanics were tight and responsive. I just found it a bit hard to handle keyboard and mouse inputs for some parts of the levels.
Great job in a short time frame. Perfect length for a jam submission.
Small things I appreciated:
- restarting was fast and polished
- characters animated in very well-tuned subtle ways
- the logic puzzle was nontrivial
Very minor gripes:
- click hitbox on the levers is a bit small
- physics and blockpushing especially is a tiny bit floaty for my taste
SPOILERS:
If it's true that I missed a mega secret ending and there are really 10 levels, then I wish there was a level select or a way to retry without having to go back through the prior levels.
If it's a lie that I missed a mega secret ending, congratulations, you absolutely pranked me. On the other hand, it took me about 2 full minutes to realise that (interesting that I assumed the 'level count' was somehow immune from the 'lies' theme), and I admit it made my experience with the ending a negative one, since I assumed there was a problem with the game.
I know you 'lied' in the controls and so that should have tipped me off to the possibility, but subconsciously I viewed the level count as 'outside' the game and therefore immune from lies. It makes me wonder if it would have been useful for this case and in general to give the rules/level count stuff more 'character', IE have it be presented by a 'character'.
I love the simple and cute art that comes with a fun platformer game, a very polished game!
Super fun little game with new mechanics on each level !!! DO NOT TRUST THE PANNELS LIKE I DID GUYS
I pushed the block guy on level 3 into the spikes even though that was not at all required.
If he had a family please notify them on my behalf.
Nice work! I dread 2d puzzle platformers in game make me feel stupid in 2 ways but this was built smartly and I extra appreciate a way to opt out of logic puzzles (I did actually solve some tho :))
nice game! pretty cute. i got stuck on the 5th level -- pretty sure i did the logic puzzle right, and i also took the long way around, but didn't figure out where to go.
really liked the visual and the audio.
the triangles i felt could be a little more forgiving horizontally. the switches could be a little hard to click on sometimes.

This is all im going to say: This game is AWESOME
check out my game: Positivity Only
Nice platformer/puzzle game. gameplay wise the jump limit I think it is unnecessary.
