How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is Trust No One, so each One in the game (As in the number 1), has a unique effect and isn't just a regular +1.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything in this from scratch

This one was confusing to me. Just looking at the interface alone, it was hard to tell what the goal was or what I was able to do. With some trial and error I was able to figure it out a bit. Maybe some in game instructions or some indication as to where I should direct my attention to first might help for first time players. The concept itself is interesting though.

This is a simple but fun roguelike. I found myself getting addicted to it. Good job!

Really interesting roguelike! I liked the core idea and the progression with the different Ones :) It was surprisingly satisfying just watching the numbers keep going up.

I think the game could feel even better with a bit more variety on the main screen and a more expressive UI. Some of the Ones were also a little hard to understand at first, so slightly clearer descriptions could help too. Overall, the idea definitely has a lot of potential!

The potential in this game is insane, had fun and hopefully this can get future updates/reworks

good game

Strangely satisfying and really fun! It's kinda funny that you don't really know what you're buying and just have to wait to find out XD

Developer(+1)

Patched the game to fix some bugs with things such as scoring and Ones not working correctly, and the card shop not appearing.

This is an insanely unique roguelike.  Trust no ONE is really funny way to look at this theme. The intro was really good; it got me to understand what was happening very fast. I think the Joker descriptions need a bit more clarity, though. I enjoyed seeing my number go up.

Clever spin on the theme! Unfortunately, the game crashed after I purchased "An Odd One" and rolled it.

Developer(+1)

I'll try to patch this before the 48 hour bugfix deadline closes.

Cool idea, took a second to understand the goal. I really liked the sound effects and music; my only complaint is that I feel it was hard to get some of the more expensive upgrades.

This game was very fun. It's hard to understand what each joker actually does but its okay because my numbers keep going up. Encountered a bug while playing but thats okay because the game was fire asf.

Thanks, I'm glad you could enjoy it!

I really like roguelike games, so this was great for me! It reminds me of Balatro, where the  ones replace the jokers, but very fun! I wanted to ask what engine you used to make it, would love to know and learn it!

Developer

The engine I used to make this game is Gamemaker Studio 2! For the sound and music I used FL Studio and for graphics I used Aseprite.
