How does the game fit the theme?
The game itself hates the player, so do not even trust the main menu because the buttons will try to stop you

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything except a few sprites, which are stock images and i took a few sound effects from an online website

How many people worked on the game?

This is by far the best game I've played during this game jam. The game is so much fun, the mechanics were so creative and innovative, and the gameplay and dialogues were really fun. I've had really fun while playing the game, I actually can't believe I could finish it lmao. This is def a winner worthy game. The fact that you did it solo is unbelievable. Great Job honestly

Very creative. I liked the escalation in absurdity, and it fit the theme well.

This is such a unique concept, and super fun too! Great job!!

This is like the third time I've landed on your page, and somehow I didn't leave a comment. YOUR GAME IS ANNOYINGLY FUN. I'M PISSED BUT IN A GOOD WAY. HAVE A GOOD DAY.

I had a blast playing this—it’s really creative. Using screen elements in unexpected ways and adding fun details like talking buttons made it really enjoyable for me. Such a simple yet an enjoyable game

This was genuinely a very fun and interesting game.  The UI really took me by surprise XD

Very nice take on the theme! Cool game!

At first I thought it was just a menu screen. Read the hints and it turned into a whole game. Super interesting and great job!

Definitely, it surprised me and very enjoyable and funny game. Amazing work.

I don't usually seek these games out but I love 4th-wall breaking games regardless. Your take fits the theme extremely well too, in my opinion. Gotta be my favorite entry so far. Great work!

this was definitely a lot of fun XD i wasn't prepared for this and i did not expect a play button would explode on my screen XDD excellent job

Good thinking outside the box with the theme.

The game is really fun! I never thought about the theme in this way, so that was a really nice and creative take on it.

The puzzles are a bit convoluted, but don’t worry—we devs always somehow manage to overcomplicate them 😭. I found three playtesters for my own game just to see if my puzzles were too confusing, and I still had to simplify them twice, lol. I definitely appreciated the hints though!

Loved the game, the art style, and the innovation. Really solid entry!

thanks a lot for the feedback! the puzzle at the beginning was even harder before but thanks to a playtester i made it slightly easier, but i don't think i will make them easier because  at the end it's supposed to be a difficult/rage game!

I never thought i have to fight with UI elements, was fun xD

Loved your take on the theme and how well it was executed for such a simple concept. Well done!

One of the most creative takes on the theme I’ve seen. Can’t trust the UI when it starts messing around like that.

I found the game really fun, it reminds me of Don't Push the Button, a puzzle game I love. Personally, I found the game quite difficult as it stands, and I'm not sure I would have made it without the first hint, but after that it flowed pretty well! It's definitely one of the most creative uses of the theme! Congrats!
