I have a cat myself, so I really loved the idea and the atmosphere of the game. The meowing sounds are absolutely perfect too. Great job!
I have a cat, so I really loved the idea! The animations get stuck sometimes, but as a concept, it’s really cool!
Really cute concept, and I love cats :)
It got a bit hard to see due to the camera angles, and a bit hard to tell which wall is sticky (like the climbing), but fun game! It would be good if you had a jump indicator even if just in the starting room so you can figure out how long to hold space bar :)
The art is nice and the movement mechanics are interesting though the collision/camera is a little finicky, not sure if that's just on the web version. I think if there were more enemies you had to fight and and the monster came a bit more often, with more places to hide i think it could be cool. During the boss with the monster dog enemy, i thought it would be cool to be able to hide to dodge his attacks. Nice job.
very cute! loved the art so much. jumping is a little wonky and takes a little to adjust to but after a while feels natural.
This so cute!! I love the kitty and you guy's take on the theme is super intresting!!
Looks like we kinda had a similar idea but in different genres XD Very lovely visuals, cute game!
I loved the kitty's jump animation!! Cool game too!
There were a few bugs and the camera was acting a little strangely at times, but other than that it was pretty fun. Nice job!
The game is good, I liked the idea and the designs
I ran into a couple bugs so I had to restart a few times and the goal was kind of unclear at the start, but overall a really cute game! The art is cool and I love the concept!
I ADORE the visual elements of the game and the core concept of someone (in this case a cat) who is scared of the world. however the controls are more frustrating then fun, you can't gauge the distance you jump and the fact that you cant make any correction make it unfortunate that there are moments where the jumps feel more blind and random rather than precise. also cause you cant make any corrections when you jump you also cant when you fall which caused me to miss a basic ledge a few times.
the direction you need to go also seemed rather unclear to me as I wasnt aware of the fact you could wall climb.
the enemy designs were amazing and really fit the aesthetics so well however the boss doesnt have a tell on which attack itll use making it very hard to respond on time.
overall I loved the direction of the game tho I thought it wouldve been a more regular platformer instead of a precision platformer ^^'
either way I enjoyed it!
Great game. I really liked the jump mechanic, never seen it before. The art is also pretty inventive, mixing 3D with 2D. The only issue I had was with the dog boss, he doesn't have different animations for the two attacks and this made it really more difficult than (I believe) was intended. Nice work!
Thank you so much! The jump is inspired by "Jump King" which has a similar locked movement + charge to increase jump range mechanic, which I mixed up by adding wall climbing and wall jumping. I asked the artist for a 'charge up' animation for the dog so players could differentiate between the charge and jump attack, but we ran out of time! I'll play your game and give feedback ASAP! :D
A really Fun Game :) the art for the hand is so COOL like idk if its rendered in 3D or its a real hand image or just hand drawn image its just so Great!! your team did a very good job
Thanks so much for playing! It's a picture of my hand cut out and crushed down to make it look low res! :D
The art is really cute! And I loved the giant hand HAHA
I struggled a bit to understand how to jump properly, I had to make a few tries to "calibrate"., but after that everything looked nice!
Just two more technical feedbacks: if you press the Spacebar to jump before pressing A or D for the direction, it only jumps vertically (I don't know if it was intended, but in some occasions it happened that I pressed the spacebar one second before D and I jumped vertically instead of right); second one, when respawning at checkpoint the camera is lowered, I had to jump a few times to make it come back normal. But I mean, it's a game jam, of course there gotta be bugs <3
Great job and good luck ^^
The jumping is working as intended! You were supposed to use vertical jumps to dodge the dog attacks but the hitboxes didn't really line up :P also i've had some feedback regarding 'charging' the jump not really being clear, i kinda decided not to put UI for that to make it more immersive but based on feedback it would have been a good idea to put it in for the jam.
and the camera behaving like that WAS unintended but we didn't have time to fix it lol. THANKS FOR PLAYING!!! And nice work again on yours :D
Art is pretty cool, specially the big hand the cat sound is pretty neat too WHAHA, I think the movement is kind of clunky in a way like when jumping its so hard to do the platforming stages. I liked that you incorporate stuff like cats have nine lives and such. it was a nice game overall and good job for you and your team.
I would appreciate it a lot if you could rate my game too and give feedbacks thankyouu

Thanks so much, lovely feedback! It doesn't seem like your game is live on your page yet? I'll keep an eye on and play it for sure!
I liked the idea but movment was a an other topic fro me it was realy hard because i could move while i was in the air
