How does the game fit the theme?
You can’t trust your own past. Each round, your previous actions return as shadows that can turn against you.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made the main arena, gameplay code, and core systems myself during the jam. I used third-party water shaders and a few VFX assets.

Liked the game very much but a nice background music and SFX would have made the game even better.
Nice idea for me to shoot at enemies using the environment as opposed to what I see as a threat. That 3rd stage was difficult for me as the bullets from the enemies came from everywhere. Just incredible visuals all-around.
Cool game! I am bit shocked that it didn’t have any audio. Audio is super important component of any game and takes very little time to add. Visually your game is good and you got interesting game mechanic there, but audio would amplify the game feel a lot.
Btw I just skipped the tutorial, and I couldn’t figure out the game by playing. Then I had to restart and read the tutorial. Even small word like “immune” on the target would hint player that this is not what you should be doing, try something else. Without feedback (or audio!) player has no idea and you must hope that the player read the instructions. Small changes like these could improve it a lot.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate how clearly you explained everything, especially the part about giving the player small hints instead of relying completely on the tutorial. That’s something I hadn’t thought about enough. And yeah, I had audio planned too, but time got me . Definitely taking these points with me if I continue the game. Thanks again for the detailed feedback!
Beautiful page design, nicely done tutorial, good visual and simple yet solid gameplay.
Petty you had no time to add music and sfx as they always add a lot to the atmosphere, but jam is a jam.
It was really enjoyable once I started going to the different stages, but for some reason, no matter how much I hit the enemy, it doesn't go to the next stage. Other than all that though, the only other thing this needs is some sounds! This game has real potential and I hope you continue to work on it! :)
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! And yes, as mentioned in the instructions, directly shooting the enemy won’t kill it — you have to use the mechanic around it to progress.
I really appreciate you pointing out the sound as well! I actually had sounds planned, but time got me during the jam. Thanks for playing and for the kind words!
Nice game. initially I was confused, started blasting and realized my mistake very quickly :). Some sound would be nice though
A bit rough at this stage but can be promising if you keep developing it!
creative idea, never played something like that before, i think it has promise. well crafted and plays well.
It would be nice to see how much dmg i'm doing to the enemies (or what remaining health they have). I also seemed to run out of bullets and wasn't sure how I got them back.
Would play again, interested if you'll keep building.
You can reply like this, keeping it natural and addressing the reload issue:
> Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the game and found the idea interesting! The ammo does reload, but I definitely could’ve made that clearer in the game. The damage/health feedback is also something I wanted to add but didn’t get enough time for. Really appreciate the detailed feedback, and I’d definitely love to keep building on it!
Hahah !! Great game idea, can't even trust ourselves !! Well executed, it would've been cool to have a few more levels to struggle a bit more but funny idea !
