While rage games are not really my cup of tea, this game is well put together! The visuals, writing, audio, and gameplay feel coherent and polished. Great work!

Developer

Thank you very much for trying it <3

I'm too bad to get past the first part, but I loved what I saw! Amazing work!❤️

hahah thank you for trying it anyways <3

My running theory is that the hero is actually a doctor when he's not adventuring so that's why apples are evil. But seriously I really liked this game! The art style is very cute, I loved ragebaiting the "Fairy", and while as many have said the runbacks were a little rough, I think the game is short enough that it's not too much a problem! I think you guys did really well to nail the theme, and I think you guys made something really solid!

Developer

I really like the take on the hero, might think of making it canon HAHA

Thank you so much for the kind words and for trying the game <3

A very cute platformer! It almost feels like a double-take on the theme when I can't even trust not trusting the fairy (rip sword).

I think you could get away with not adding more checkpoints if the character could move a little faster, or sprint while on the ground.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what we were hoping would happen, not trusting the choice to not trust haha

The art is really good, and the fairy is awesome. The humor fits the theme super well. Am I the only one who expected the apple to help me at some point? xD

To polish things a bit, maybe more checkpoints — some parts get frustrating, but I do enjoy a good challenge. :D

the real theme is never trust an apple

But.. I want an apple! (╥﹏╥)

Hi ! Like others said, as a not super-good precision player I would have appreciated more checkpoints.

I love the art-style, the cheap-tune goes well with it, as well as the plot (I too love the faerie-demon who's trolling us <3). Technically your game looks very clean to me so good job on that too !

I sadly don't have time today to play more and finish your game to see where the story goes but I think I'll give it another try tomorrow :p It's fun getting trapped by all the little things in the game and finding-out how everything works.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking some time to try our game and for the kind words ^^

Chechpoints will forever hunt us down after this haha

The art in this is super super good. The fairy is really cute and her laughing at you when you die is a good touch. I'm bad at these kinds of games but it was really fun!

Developer

Thank u so much! That laugh was super funny to draw too! Thank u for trying the game <3

What can I say? Smooth movement and I love the art style.

In the end I only stopped reading the fairy because everything kept killing me. Also I will add oner ore two checkpints.

*How did the demon end up there?

Developer

This is the first time I've seen it after testing bruh.
Thank you so much for the comment and bug detection!! :D

If it helps, it appeared when I died and stayed a bit at the checkpoint. The demon appeared from the left side moving towards the right.
