How does the game fit the theme?
The “Trust No One” theme comes from the Supervisor AI pretending to guide you while actually trying to make you late, so you have to decide when to trust it and when to rely on yourself. It’s also a small metaphor for the current state of the game industry and job market, where even systems meant to help you can sometimes work against you.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Character control, volumetric clouds, UI system.

How many people worked on the game?

Very good parkour game. Very polished !

Unfortunately the game lagged a lot on my computer :( which is sad because it looks really fun and I was looking forward to playing it. I think the graphics look really good and the music was catchy, but I wasn't able to make it very far because of the lag.

Developer

Sorry about that , we could probably optimize it even more. Thank anyway for the kind words!

I love movement games so this was right up my alley. The ability to create platforms out of thin air was a really cool feature and allowed for a lot of skill expression. Great game and great message!

Developer

I'm really glad you enjoyed !

How in the world was this completed in just a week. This game is amazing it feels polished and the mechanics are great.

Developer

Thank you so much !

I loved the little animations of the characters panicking as you’re about to get fired. The sound effects really added to the humor. Well Done!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed !

A beautiful game—the movement is smooth and the graphics are amazing. Great job!

Developer

Thank you !

Clean game! Did not expect a cracked out movement game for this theme so I was pleasantly surprised. I think it would have fit the theme better if there were false routes that may be extremely hard or close to impossible (or at least that's what I was expecting).

Developer

Glad you liked the game ! Your feedback is really usefull, I'm totally gonna consider it for future release

Veerrry slick, really fun time with the movement! It was tough to get a hang of stopping on a dime especially on the platforms. I think it could use something to smooth out that transition a bit better.

Developer

thank you ! Yes we're gonna look at it

Yo we played this on stream and it was really fun! Thanks for hanging out and making a great one!

Developer

thank you it was a pleasure !

Very fun game with incredible mechanics. Can definitely see this game being the type to be in the background of a commentary youtube video, and it's the most fun I've had with a game jam game so far... however I'm not sure how it fits the theme.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I can see why the theme might not be super obvious at first xD The Supervisor AI acts like a really smart navigator that’s there to help you, but it’s actually trying to make you late. That’s where the "Trust No One" part comes in you have to decide when to listen to it and when to shut it up and trust yourself instead. There’s also a small metaphor in there about the current state of the game industry and the job market, where even systems that are supposed to help you can sometimes work against you. Thanks a lot for playing and for pointing it out!

Cool game from what I’ve seen, but to hard for me. I did tried mastering it for like 10-15 minutes, but never made it through the encounter where you have to create your own platforms mid flight.

With that said, I don’t have much to critique there besides the fact that I don’t see how the theme of the jam is implemented there, but probably I just never made it to that point.

Congratulations on the submission, you did a great job!

Developer(+1)

The "Trust No One" theme comes from the Supervisor AI pretending to help you like some super smart navigator, while actually trying to slow you down and make you late for work. Since you’re not supposed to trust anyone, you can choose to silence it and rely on yourself instead. So the whole idea is figuring out when to listen to it and when to ignore it if you want to make it to work on time :D It’s also kind of a metaphor for the rough time both the game industry and the job market are going through right now, where even the systems that are supposed to help you can sometimes end up working against you. Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback!

Thank you for the clarification, now all of this make sense. Good luck with the game, it definitely has something and as I can see from the other player’s review they appreciate it!

The visuals, effects, and overall responsiveness of the gameplay all feel really good, but what impressed me the most was the UI/UX.

I especially liked the motion in the UI and the way the control prompts are integrated naturally into the game world. Those details left a really strong impression on me.

Developer

Thank you so much !

The character controller and movement feel ridiculously smooth and responsive, seriously some of the most satisfying movement mechanics I’ve played in this genre! I completely missed the control hints on the rooftops and just figured it out by intuition, but the flow and overall polish are great

Developer

amazing words thank you so much !

Holyy... Karlson type movement flow bro how does one even achieve this that too in 1 week?! Flipping of the AI is hilarious lol. My only issue was that I thought that the yellow glowing lines where lava so that caused my some deaths when I tried to jump before it. But I think that is just my problem. Graphics are amazing too! Full 5 on everything

Developer

glad you enjoyed it ! thank you !

Wow, really beautiful map, great music, great voice acting and the UI and movement felt really polished. I'm amazed you managed all this in a week!

Also bonus points as a Mirror's Edge enjoyer xD

Very nice entry
