How does the game fit the theme?
Monkey Daycare is an observation and strategy game where you manage enclosures full of mischievous monkeys. Unfortunately, these monkeys do not behave.
They steal supplies, start fights and sabotage the daycare constantly, and every monkey has a different level of trustworthiness.
When an incident occurs, you must study their accusations, remember their behaviour and decide who is telling the truth.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The game was made in Unity and uses TextMesh Pro, and third-party fonts. All game-specific programming, artwork, animation, music and sound effects were created by the team during the jam.

Yea by far this is my fav game in jam. Amazing artstyle, pretty good gameplay, peak humour. Amazing work.
I really liked the sound effects, and the visuals are great fun (especially the little animation of the monkeys being catapulted, haha). But I think there was just something missing for me to really grasp what the game was all about, because every time, I’d either vote for the monkey in the spotlight or, the rest of the time, for the monkey with the most votes from the others, without really managing to figure out any other strategies.

Super cute game. Really love it. Very interesting concept and gameplay. Appreciate the efforts in the animations as well. One thing if I had to nitpick is maybe the "map" UI is not very obvious because it's black on a relatively dark part of the BG (the green leaves).

Wow this is great. One of my favorites this jam when it comes to the different rating aspects. Super consistent visuals, great fitting audio, a fun game play loop and enough twist on the theme to make it feel fresh again. Excellent!

The animations and graphics are all STELLAR and absolutely adorable, the handling of the monkeys is really well put together (although it can be easy to get overwhelmed by all the monkeys) and the trust system is a really interesting and cool take on the theme

Absolutely adorable little monkeys, and so naughty too! I wasn't sure sure whether I can sending the right guys to the zoolag until the game ended so I guess I was getting it right! Love the lil animations they do, and the music is great!
So that's what it looks like if I guess wrong! It really confuses me if I did get it right or wrong, but at least I caught 8 monkeys before I lost my run! This was an amazing experience! The game loop is also very nice. Good job!

this is so so so so incredible. I would genuinely love a Tamagotchi style full release of this game! I love all the little monkeys and the fact that they each have their own small personality, even with subtle features. great great job!

Another greatest game ever has struck this jam with some of the greatest cutscenes, opening music, and charm you will ever see in a video game. I adored the gameplay loop of this, and was giggling pretty much the whole time! My only major criticism is that I didn't realize there were multiple cameras at first, and that could've been tutorialized better. Feels like a very complete game, with a lot of love and care put into making sure the direction is received in a consistent and funny way, awesome work!

Taking care of the monkeys feels really wholesome, and watching them run around is just so fun and relaxing <3

I use tablet but i have a bluetooth keyboard and its right at the start no matter what ksy i prsss or tap i cant
I must be a good daycare worker I put everyone in a timeout box but they still committed trouble. but I only got 1 wrong
The artstyle is incredibly charming!! I didn't really understand what caused the trust to go down or up, but I enjoyed managing the monkeys regardless
Very fun game! after some time it got kind of repetitive so i wish after x ammount of levels there was a new thing to watch out for or another distraction, but overall love the game! amazing visuals.
