It's rare I play a video game that makes me feel like a tiny hamster... but today is that day and it was really fun! Simple gameplay but communicates something cool and does it with some cute animations, the way everything stops and starts so instantly feels very hamsteresque which is a new word I just invented, and the audio getting scary on a whim is entertaining. I did it without dying once, because I am the hamster expert. Music loop could've maybe been a bit longer, but nothing major. Awesome game!

Super cute! Love this take on the theme and the game is simple and finished. Gameplay was intuitive as the life of a hamster and I managed to complete the game without getting ham'd too many times. :p

DAWW THIS IS SO CUTE, I love the art-style so much. It really is so terrifying to be a hamster... Really cute and I enjoyed how much polish the game had. I only wish it was longer, but at least this hamster has a nice big pile of seeds :]

Charming game ♥ I love the hamster animations, you can tell a lot of love was put into it. This game is so polished that I pretty much love absolutely everything about it. The only thing I regret is that it's so short! Just out of curiosity, is 25 the maximum amount of seeds you can get, and are the different runs somewhat randomized? Because for example, I got run over by a bicycle once, but on another run I didn't, so I was just wondering if that was intentional? Overall, it's a great game, it's a blast to play and the hamster is very relatable. Good job! ♥

Such a cute game! I also really love hamsters, and this one is adorable. The sounds effects and animation made the moments of danger so immersive, I was almost as scared as the hamster :D Also, the art is pretty!

It was really cute! I loved the animations and the mouse’s expressions. The idea of the game was really interesting too, and I really enjoyed it. That part where the vacuum or fan suddenly turned on and launched the mouse actually scared me!😅☺️

Last month, as I was birdwatching, I saw a magpie fly over a sparrow. Seeing the shadow pass over him was such a terrifying experience for the little guy that he immediatly started screaming for his life before fleeing.
This reminded me a lot of him, I wonder what he's up to right now.
Anyway, really pretty game. The gameplay is nothing special but you largely make up for it with sheer immersion. The feeling of dread and panic is perfectly transcribed. I was a bit disapointed to see that the scrolling simply stops when the player is expected to hide, it make the danger feel less organic which is what the game seems to be all about.
Really solid entry all around, the visuals and the sounscape are gorgeous.

XD We did want an endless scroll at first, but ultimately decided to treat each danger event as a "boss" or a "level" you have to first deal with before progressing. You did give me some fun ideas in case we actually continue working on this after the jam though. x)
The special effect when you’re in danger is really cool and realistic, and the art is great too. I also like the little animation where the hamster starts hyperventilating. The bike suddenly doing a 360 caught me off guard. Can’t trust the environment, got ham'd too many times! Good job!

I loved everything about this! Great use of the theme, loved the visuals, constant little surprises and stressful moments but while keeping everything light and fun. Really great job on a polished game well scoped for a 7 day jam, and this is something you could totally build on if you wanted to.

The art is really good, I especially like the startscreen and the animations, and the audio was also nice! I love the concept of this game, fits the theme well too! Also, the animations in particular, really remind me of my rabbit; she also jumps and goes into panic mode at the slightest movement lol
