Ranked from 22 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
"Lost In Mind" directly embodies the theme "Trust No One" through psychological deception and narrative betrayal:

1. The Deceptive Ally: Early in the game, the player encounters a chained stranger who desperately pleads for help, claiming to be an innocent victim. He instructs the player to scour the haunted house for keys and tools to free him. Blindly trusting his guidance leads the player deeper into danger, as the captive's true sinister motives unfold.

2. Sensory & Environmental Paranoia: In the dark corridors, your senses cannot be trusted—footsteps, shifting shadows, and deceptive audio cues blur the line between safety and a trap.

To survive and uncover the truth, the player must question every instruction, every sound, and truly Trust No One.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
- 3D Environment: Modular Haunted Farmhouse asset pack & environment props.

- Plugins: DOTween for smooth UI transitions and camera shakes.

- Audio: Royalty-free horror sound effects and ambient tracks from Freesound and Incompetech.

Just right off the start: For the foliage set the material alpha clipping value to 0.5 or something.

Okay, I was not able to pass the lady 3 times. I know where to go, but somehow I was not able to get past her. What I am mostly missing is the theme. I don't know if it would have been more clear at the end, but for me it seems not present.

The audio, art and gameplay is solid. So, for one week, good job.

Happy 20th rating!

Great job on the horror atmosphere! The red dot cursor is a bit immersion breaking though (not sure if it's a bug or intentional).  my character got stuck after walking over here :D

This game is amazing. I can't believe that this game is made for 1 week

One issue is the lightning and some textures, but i guess it's still okay

Developer

Yoo I can't believe it took me this long to find a horror thriller game in a game jam themed Trust No One!

Great atmosphere, and the intro scene really set the tone for the game. Nice work on incorporating multiple elements of the theme into the game. And the sound effects were on point! I was on my toes and cursing the entire time LOL.

My only suggestion is that the blue particle effects could have been less pixelated and vibrant so they wouldn’t detract from the whole vibe of the game.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this entry and even more impressive that you worked on it alone. I think it's just the perfect scope for a 7-day jam, in terms of development and how long it takes to play through.

Keep it up!

Developer

thank you!.. i am trying my best

This is very cool, this looks very cool for a game jam, especially since you made this game alone. Rate my game too

This is pretty cool, but as one of  the other comments said, the FOV is a bit low, and the movement is a bit janky for me, but overall the narrative and gameplay is prette cool

Developer

This is a very ambitious project! Well done for completing this in 1 week.
The FOV was a little too low for me (made me a little dizzy), but the vibe was right.
