i played Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers while listening and it became Nier Automata

Oh man, the GBA Celtic vibes are awesome! I love the soundfonts you chose, and the groove is very open, like in that first track. The little harmonic development in the middle is nice as well. Great groove with the upbeatness in track 2, and I love some of the modal mixture and key changes you've got going on. I think I heard a flat2 chord? Love the heaviness in that piano and the groove push with the 5/4 in track 3; it truly has a sense of finality to it, with stakes. The GBA retro design in terms of the groove, chords, and sound design (some arpeggios I heard in track 3, for example) is done really nicely! Not much of a criticism, but a suggestion: maybe have new sections (a bridge, for example), like a more spatial groove section in track 3, to add more depth and emotion. The melodic contour can use some variation, but I understand these tracks are also on the shorter side. All in all, absolute bangers. I would not be surprised to hear this in a Touhou game (maybe just with an added trumpet LOL).

I adore the soundfont sounds. They are just so nostalgic feeling despite being born after those were the most prevalent. I still played a lot of games with them and they are some of my favorites. 

Every song was a banger.

This soundtrack is brilliant, with composition and orchestration choices that maintain interest throughout by constantly moving.

Verdant Melody - Great choice of instrumentation. Simple but effective cycle 5 progression in the B section and a smooth modulation that leads back into the A section. I really like that you included this track because it adds variety, depth, and thematic relevance to the soundtrack overall.

Four Winds - I love the melodic section from 0:34-1:20, especially when juxtaposed in between the sections with the metal riff. Great drum writing too.

Precipice of Forgotten Heaven - Really cool and natural use of 5/4 with great chord choices.

So solid. I really enjoyed the SNES sound palette and I think you nail all the themes with strong compositions to back them up. I feel like the final track has Megaman X vibes, which I really appreciate. I am curious what do you use to create those instruments? Thanks for the submission, so good!

• "Verdant Melody" is so sweet and fun; I can sense the influence of certain games, though I couldn't quite put my finger on which ones. By the way, I love the choir creating that angelic, ethereal effect beneath such a lively melody.
• "Four Winds"—the choice of sounds is so striking: a bit ethnic, a bit retro-video game, and full of energy.
• "Precipice of Forgotten Heaven" — I am climbing to the top of the world to change the destiny of this story RAHHH

dudeee the composition IS INSANE!!!!! not to mention the orchestration too holy crap this is fuckin sick!!!! huge fan of the art cover too! overall incredible submission and u should be proud!!!!!!
