How does the game fit the theme?
Trust no creature! Any could be the shapeshifting menace: Dittimorph!

Various free shaders from awesome Godot peoples

Such a cute little game!! The art style is really fun and charming!
If this weren't Pokémon-themed, I could totally see the concept being developed into its own indie game with a lot of potential!
This is crazy, felt almost ar :D
Loved the animations and sfx of the game. Audio could have been a little louder as I had to turn everything up to max to hear. It was a little unclear about what the objective of the game was until I realize it was to catch the Ditties so maybe have it actually state out "You have 5 guesses to catch the Ditties" but that could just be me being slow.
on the Main menu it tells you anything you need to know. but yeah we could of improved it, the game was a really hard game to make for our first jam we pulled a lot of all nighters and still had 40 minutes before the deadline to submitt it
the art is HOLY
Thank you so much! I worked on the 3d models and another team mate worked on the 2d art for the cover and codex
this was very cool thanks for sharing and I hope to see more.
The art was so cool :0, it would've been awesome if there's music with this. The instructions aren't bad either, but it is hard to get it right if you're just going in straight away with just the information of the creatures in your head. It encourages you to keep retrying and look at each of their behavior to fully get it. Overall, great game for a first jam!
The game looks good but I didn't really understand what I'm suppose to do hehe
was I supposed to capture the imposter?
yes the main menu has the instructions. You Press C to pull out the chimi-Dex and find the imposter by reading there descriptions and finding the differences. the gameplay should last about 10 minutes or under. I hope this didn't negatively effect your review.
Really cute animal and wasn't expecting to have so much fun!
A chill puzzle game where you examine creatures' behaviors and find the imposter. I see a lot of potential in it.
What a great idea for the jam theme I really liked the combination of 2D graphics like hands. Great game.
Hi Osaka, thanks the person who did the 2d art worked very hard on it.
TYSM I hope you enjoyed
The art is great! I just couldn’t figure out how to turn the character around.
Hi Planarians, did the button in the top left-hand corner not let you re-capture the mouse? We put that there because it would bug out in the browser and it helps recapture it.
This was a super cool idea - using Pokeballs and Pokedex's to find the imposters is such an interesting twist on the theme! I do think only having 5 Dittimorph balls is very limiting, since you only have room for 1 mistake if you don't catch a Dittimorph. I love how you had to read the Dittidex to find the correct Dittimorph that is the imposter - that was a cool idea! Maybe you could add like a 90s jingle like the Pokemon theme, but in minor key to set the weird atmosphere of finding the Dittimorphs! Either way, I'm glad you all were able to submit on time, especially with such an ambitious project like this! I know it can be pretty tough finishing the game in time, but I'm glad you were able to do it! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
Hi Mosie, this is some great feedback. We really did want to include a soundtrack, but we definitely ran out of time. We were definitely going for a weird but colorful atmosphere. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm a little suspicious of downloading files to play a game, perhaps it would be better to export to HTML5 and allow players to play through itch
Hi Binding, your right, I do not typically trust downloading files online either. We ran into some shader difficulties but were finally able to get it into the browser. Hope you'll give it a try now.
