How does the game fit the theme?
In our game, you have to sort the emails using rules given from various sources.
Each level comes with a set of rules. You can find them in a neat rulebook, though it deteriorates from time to time, giving you false information.
While playing and sorting you get specific rule emails that have you choose another rule to follow. Neither those can always be trusted and need to be evaluated carefully.
The premise is simple, trust no one. Be it the mails' contents, the people writing those mails or even the game ui itself. You need correctly choose who and who not to trust.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All art, music, sfx and code was made by our team during the jam.

Wow, I really like how many features were added on this one, I was not expecting it. My favourite design choice is that the player is allowed to choose what new rules will be added and implemented. Love that interaction.
Thank you for playing our game! Really glad to hear that you liked choosing what rules to implement!
fun to play and visually awesome but just little work on readability overall awesome :))
Thank you so much for rating, playing and commenting on our game!
I loved the graphics and mini games. I would recommend reivisit the UI for making it more readable with the visual style.
Thank you for the feedback!
Really interesting concept. I love the UI and visual effects you created. Im a big sucker for a computer screen on my computer screen LOL.
Sometimes it was a bit hard to see thing I selected, and I was sometimes confused on how to complete the mini games? But other than that It was a great concept and really well executed. I'm interested in how you would make it harder and more replayable
Thank you! I appreciate that our game... may have been a little confusing at first but thank you for pushing through! Glad to hear that you thought it went well! Thank you for rating, playing and commenting on our game and we really appreciate the feedback!
Really clever concept with a lot of neat difficult spikes and features along the way, fantastic concept for a game! Admittedly, even though the CRT overlay added a lot to the vibe, it made it difficult for me to read the e-mails, maybe if there was a way to tweak that? But I'm super impressed by this game and had a blast playing it!
Thank you! Glad to hear that you enjoyed it! I think we adjusted the fish-eye-ness of the CRT filter at one point but I guess it's still a bit too much. Thanks for playing, rating and commenting on our game!
Cool concept! I love the UI and interaction system. Nice game!
Thank you! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game!
I enjoyed the premise of your game a lot. The difficulty was well balanced, and I appreciated how you could choose the new rules. I also loved reading each email—they were all unique and funny. Great job creating all of your assets!
Thank you for rating our game! Glad to hear that you enjoyed it
I liked the overall atmosphere. I found that the ‘CRT screen’ effect made reading much more difficult (including the onboarding elements) – I suspect this is intentional, but it didn’t help me get into the game or get hooked on the gameplay.
I didn’t spot the rules tab straight away, so my first few days were a bit of a hit-and-miss affair! After that, things sorted themselves out :D I think there’s room for improvement when it comes to feedback and making it clearer for players.
Well done, team!
Thank you! We did have an idea of making it harder to read if you get things wrong but we ran out of time. Glad to hear that you liked the atmosphere and thank you for playing our game!
I enjoyed the minigame to break up the gameplay a bit. Had to reread the instructions quite a few times to understand which emails go to the chest and/or folder. Prob a me issue. Cool concept and game. Great job guys
thank you for feedback! hopefully the trailer that we will release later will help with the misunderstandings for new players, and thanks for playing it means a world to us!
I liked how every time you clicked the rules tab, the rules got progressively harder to read, even if it was the same email. I am decidedly average at the job of sorting emails, lol. It's a good premise and played well for me. I would've liked either a new mechanic/minigame every so often or just a shorter timeline. Going ten days without anything new being added in felt a little too long. Great take on the theme, letting players choose new rules or abilities as they played. Overall a good experience!
Glad you enjoyed the game and fair, I do agree that we should have added another mechanic because they do feel a bit repetitive sometimes given how there's only 3 minigames
Nice game. I liked the difficulty level, and adding more rules as the game progressed. I would suggest putting the initial rules somewhere easier to find as they feel a bit hidden. Great job on this!
Thank you! I do see why finding how to start playing might not be as obvious as we wanted it to be, but thank you for playing nonetheless!
goog game
Thank you!
a really cool way to use the theme, this was fun :) sometimes i had trouble reading the text, but enjoyed nonetheless!
Thank for playing our game and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it! We'll looking into the not being able to read text bug! :>
I have to say I had quite a lot trouble with identifying good emails, it wasnt as easy as I tought lol. Unique take anomaly games genre too. However game gets pretty repetetive the longer it goes since there is not much variety between the days. Oh and btw maybe its only me but attention check minigame with only 3 green things was quite often saying failure when I did it right. Art is great and I love john email. (CRT shader is very nice too!). GG
Glad to that hear you mostly enjoyed the game! As for the verification minigame, sometimes you might see a small ! in front of the instruction, whatever that might mean...
Great to hear that you liked it! I think the boundary for the spinny verification emails can sometimes be a weird, but glad to hear that you enjoyed it! (Or at least the first few days of it) Johnathan Mail is amazing :>
I actually reached day 10, forgor to mention
Very interesting! I like that it didn't shy on adding more features in the game! I like how it's not just looking for a certain rule but we also make that rule, do some verification stuff, and more. Good job on the dozen, damn!
Thank you! I do feel like we might have overscoped a little but that was probably a planning mistake on our part. Thank you for playing our game!
The visuals are great, especially liked the icons. However the gameplay itself is pretty repetitive -> read -> sort -> verification minigame. From time to time new rules get introduced but some of them didn't really change the gameplay for some reason? The music and sound fit the game well.
Well done!
Thank you! We did try and find some ways to spice up the game a little but I do understand that it was probably a little repetitive. Nonetheless, thank you for playing and rating our game!
Interesting game. I like the visuals.
Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game!
Nice game guys, like the vibes a lot!
Thank you!
