How does the game fit the theme?
Your travels are cut short by a crumbled bridge. To move on, you must gather resources for the people in nearby town of Evant so that they can rebuild your passage.
Collect resources, fight goblins, trade with dishonest merchants, upgrade your character and talk with the townsfolk as you explore this uncaring place!
The question is: can you trust anyone in this gods forsaken town?
Feel free to leave any feedback you have, it is very appreciated.

I really enjoyed definitely coming back to it!
I'm happy you liked it! I will be dropping an update sometime in the future:)
Very nice game. The mechanics are well implemented. One thing I would suggest is to make the merchants' pricing different so that there is strategy in your collection and selling, and also to reduce the time for money collection; like if I sold wheat to the baker, I would get much extra, so selling items to their perfect match would yield the money in two rounds or so. But obviously, well thought out. Good job :)
Thank you for your feedback, this is very helpful!
I was planning on a far more elaborate trading system but as you might suspect I have over scoped:P Still, I will definitely improve it with a future update.
Happy you liked it!
Well done. The scope for the game is impressive given that you were solo. The sword audio and visuals were great.
Thank you very much! I did over scope a little bit and had to cut corners with the trading system which is probably the most important part of the game but that's a lesson for the future:P
I'm glad you liked it!
This is really great. Well done.
The movement controls are really nice, which really makes or break a simple game like this. The concept of being scammed in an otherwise 'normal' rpg is awesome, and everything is nicely polished. Great job.
You should absolutely expand upon this and make something more of it if you have the time/motivation. All the ingredients are there for something unique and interesting.
Thank you, that was very encouraging! I will be updating the game for some time if you're interested:)
I like atmosphere in this game and the fake coin mechanic.
I sold like 100 breads and got 550 fake coins, what a scam! This town economy is doomed for sure haha.
Yeaah the trading system was the last thing on my roadmap and it shows haha
I will be updating the game for some time and I will definitely include a more elaborate system. Thank you for playing!
that’s way too Polished than i presumed!!
I am pleasantly surprised!!
Thank you, I'm happy that you have enjoyed it!
art is fantastic! really nice to play, game is very polished! Keep updating after jam!
Thank you for playing my game!
I will definitely keep updating it for some time after the jam - I'm actually already half-finished with the first update. If you're interested, feel free to check it out once I deploy it:)
Super polished! Loved the cozy Stardew Valley vibes with the gathering and crafting loop. The world map was super charming and perfectly scaled. Wish I could've explored inside the houses, but totally get the jam constraints. The art style is beautiful!
Thank you for your feedback!
I am working on an update after the jam ends, this time I'm using an asset pack with house interiors so since you're the second person that mentioned trying to explore buildings I might seriously consider giving them proper interiors...
This is very helpful, thank you once again:)
The art is gorgeous! Everything felt smooth, controls, sounds, etc, great job! Everything is put together very well and overall it was a fun game :)
Thank you, I'm happy that you liked it:)
I found a bug :P If you stand on a collectable item and just press E without moving, it let's you pick it up over and over again til you hit max 99 capacity soooooo I was able to beat your game much faster than expected hahaha. I think I would've had more patience with it if there were some speed upgrades? Not just loot 2x more but movement speed or not stopping when you're attacking? A minimap would be useful too. It's frustrating adventuring to the corner of the map only to find there was nothing waiting for you so the minimap or just map could prevent a lot of that :)
Thank you so much for your feedback, that was very helpful:D
Fun game! It looks very good, and the gameplay feels very smooth. personally, one thing I would have liked to see would be some way to get less fake coins, or maybe to get one merchant that gives less fake coins than the others? I sold roughly the same amount of forage to the 3 merchants and they all gave me almost the same amount of fake coins. Other than that, great work!
Thank you for your feedback, that was exactly what I was planning to do but unfortunately didn't have enough time to finish it:/
If you're interested I will release an updated version some time after the jam ends hopefully with this issue addressed!
Super fun! It took me forever to get 2000k gold. I killed soooo many goblins.
I'm sure there was another way out, but i feel like i went up and down the whole map without finding it.
Anyway, well done!
I'm sorry to hear that, you can collect forage from the forest and sell it to the merchants (they can also scam you for money) - you can also buy upgrades from the wizard which makes collecting money much faster. Huge respect for playing till the end from just killing goblins! I'll keep in mind to make the gameplay mechanics more clear in my future games
Oh, I also collected and sold things. It just seemed like it'd be faster to kill the goblins, since those seems to be an average of like 10 gp per goblin, where the foragables seemed to not sell for much, when considering the fake coins. I did get the inventory upgrade from the wizard, but when I went back to him, there wasn't an option to buy anything else.
Thank you for pointing that out, I'll look into it!
Really nice game ! I like how it looks and the cozy vibe !
I'm glad you liked it:D
