Hey, thank you so much for the kind review, it means a lot to hear that you like it that much! I'm so impressed with what everyone did in the short time span and really enjoyed not having too much time to think about what I want to do. I hope you had a wonderful jam and keep on making music!

I'm still teaching myself to mix so the feedback is very much appreciated. I'll probably go over everything again after the jam:)

Thank you for the feedback, it means a lot! I'll check on the track again and clean that up a little bit:) Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, you're welcome! It's just a 3D hack and slash game inspired by games like Elden ring and Zelda by a small indie studio and dear to my heart. Anyway, you make really beautiful music, I hope you keep going!

Both tracks are really really pretty, so wild that you only used free plugins, but everything I used from LABS so far was very good. The soundtrack kind of reminded me of the "Death's Door" music, one of my favorite video game soundtracks! Very well done, great composition!

Really relaxing music! The last two tracks are my favorites for sure, I love how "Where I Came From" builds up over the time and everything fits together so nicely:)

Really really funky, I loved the bassline in the first two tracks. Great work!

Damn, that's really fast lol. I also enjoyed the video as well, so great work from your brother as well!

I really love this, such a cool mix of different electric vibes with great instrument choices. The beginning part of "poor customer service" is one of my favorites!

So impressive what you made in the short span of the jam! "A World of Old" and "The Bells of Battle" are such bangers, great percussion work and epic and just really nice harmonies.

I gotta give you the compliment back, that your work also feels really complete as it is! Every track brings something else to the whole picture. I liked that "Whispers" was right before the end as a little breather between the bigger orchestral pieces. Well done:)

The Intro song is so so beautiful and the following tracks just stack onto the great first impression. You can tell that different people worked on the soundtrack, but that just makes it more diverse and creative. Slice of Salmon had amazing piano parts in the beginning and middle, Perssi brought such a cool sounddesign and new sounds into the album and Vortex closed it off with a super pretty and melancholy piece. I hope you 3 had a great time despite the stress, you all write breathtaking piano parts. Well done team!

Overall a really sweet soundtrack. I especially loved all the percussion parts, really catchy and fun. Or in the case of "Holographic Design" the electric drums give off some threatening vibes. I'm glad you finally got to make that project happen:)

You really nailed the nostalgic sound of older videogame soundtracks, great instrument selection, well done!

I think I remember hearing "WARPED" in the discord before and really liked the harmonies then, so cool that you got to finish it:) The soundtrack is really different to other submissions I heard, in a good way! Nice use of the leitmotifs throughout and at parts super funky. Keep it up:)

All the tracks have very great and immersive sounddesign! I especially liked the mysteriousness of "Sunless Garden" :)

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it:)

Thank you very much for the review, I'm really glad that it sounds complete even with the little time that I had for it:) I hope you have a lovely day!

Thank you so much for the kind review! I hope you had a lovely jam:)

I really liked the distorted voice(?) samples, it gives a super unique sound:)

Really really pretty piano composition and a nice mix between calm and epic moments. Well done!

I'm so glad my music was a part of this amazing game. Well done, loved the fishing mini-game:)

Thanks for the nice feedback:)

The wheat cornels are a reference to the myth that vampires have to count rice, cornels and other stuff. That's why some people put them in front of their houses so when a vampire wants to enter their house, they can escape in the time the vampire counts the cornels. Or they buried people with them, so that they are too busy counting to get out of their graves :D

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it that much! Maybe I'll continue the story at some point, we'll see:)

I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback!

Do you mean the "Reset" at the very end with the music credits or another reset button?

I made the game with twine and I don't think there is a way to give keyboard support with that, unfortunately:/

Really fun and creative game! I loved all the puns and the dialog was always the right amount :)

I played it a couple of times, so by now I know what to do, but I still struggle with:

- The "mash to build" game - I only get to 50% and lose a life every time. I am supposed to just mash the space bar/left mouse button, right?

- "Defend the code" and "dodge the bugs" - It introduced new controls that I didn't quite get. Maybe I need to pause for that or the time until the game starts could be longer.

- I struggled a bit to catch the bugs/"I'm not a robot" button with my mouse. I'm not sure if I was off by a little bit or if the game didn't register me clicking.

- Not really something I struggled with, but I think you can shoot the the bullets in the "Shoot the bugs" game, before the game actually starts. I don't know if they reset, because I was able to shoot the bug anyway.

I have yet to finish my game, but I will continue to try :D

Really cool, reminds me of WarioWare:) Sometimes there is a bit to little time for the minigames but still very fun.

Lovely artstyle and animation, I played up to floor 52 where my house was just building itself :D
At some point the music stopped, so maybe with varied music and animations it would be even more fun.

Really fun and creative game, I love the art style and colors:)
I think I found a small bug in the can throwing game, where the can would sometimes be stuck on the right side and be not moveable anymore.

Thank you for the feedback

Thanks for the kind review:)

Thanks for the review, I'll polish the game a bit more after the jam:)

Thank you for the kind review!

Hi, thanks for the review and feedback! I think bitsy games are very loud in general, maybe because of the music hack, but I'll see if I can fix the issues :)

I don't know that game, but it looks great. I'll check it out, thanks.

Hi, thanks for playing!

I get that, I ran out of time at the end.

Did you encounter any errors or have specific things that need to be polished?

Hey, I'm leaf (they/them) and just posted in the tips and help corner and forgot to introduce myself.

I'm not really active on forums, but I'm just starting to make games and found bitsy to be a great start:)

Hi everyone!

I'm working on my second bitsy game for a game jam and wanted to use more than one color in some rooms.

I didn't add any new colorcodes, just COL and then the color numbers from bitsy for either black or white for a few sprites. I also made two sprites transparent (BGC *).

There weren't any problems when I first made those changes. However after a few days of working on the game, it just started crashing in the middle of testing, usally on spaces before room exits. The animation of the avatar stops and I can't move anymore.

After deleting the rooms in which the game would crash and repainting them, the game crashed in some other spaces too. I don't know why, especially because it's not even crashing in rooms, where the sprites are, that have a transparent background or a 4. color.

Did anyone else have problems with bitsy crashing like that?

Any advice is much appreciated!
