Fun little game. I feel like stun-locking enemies might be a little overpowered? Then again I ended up losing on the 4x4 grid. Could have maybe used some clearer indicators when things got messy, but overall, pretty solid entry.
The sound effects and movement of the claw felt incredibly realistic. The difficulty progression was really well balanced. It gradually became more challenging without ever feeling unfair. I've always felt that balancing a game like this is harder than it seems, so great job! I'm glad a few hits by the toys don't mean game over. Otherwise, I would've died pretty quickly. After I learned how to stun and throw them, I was able to survive much longer.
Such a polished and well-designed game. I had a lot of fun playing it!
Took me a little while to get my head around the stun and throw side of things, but once I did I had a lot of fun with it! Definitely gets more intimidating as it gets bigger, but it's such a great concept and plays really smoothly. The artwork is wonderful and I loved the audio effects too - going to have the song stuck in my head for a while!
Great game, team!
Nice work! The art was super cute and juggling enemies felt pretty good when I could get it to work. I enjoyed the earlier parts before the area fully expanded the most as it felt fun to juggle the plushies around or wait for them to walk into the claw area. I found it was a bit too chaotic once the area fully expanded, but it was still doable if I waited for an easier batch of plushies to appear and just stun lock them 😂
Overall, good work on your entry!
the game was mildly intimidating at first but i got the hang of it pretty quick, it was not intuitive that getting hit moves you into the claw zone, but overall i got it
i think that throwing is really janky, it's confusing that sometimes it's a swap, sometimes it's a throw..
it feels like it shouldn't take a turn to grab AND a turn to throw.
i wish i could make more precise actions, and maybe be indicated better what my actions would do.
(and i would have liked to have known how the toys moved outside of just the indication on the floor but it wasnt the biggest deal, i just still don't know how all the toys worked even after playing a bit)
the push was also strange, because it meant getting stuff stuck in the center was exponentially harder than getting stuff stuck in the middle (since you could already throw stuff against the walls anyways) a wait key also might have been nice... sometimes i was forced to make moves i didn't want to, which was awkward (that's another reason i don't like the push move)
i think the cooldown on all the toys should be longer, i really felt like it was impossible to make any kind of plans because all the toys would take two or three turns in the time it took you to try to execute a plan, so you really needed to be planning too far ahead that it was impossible to know how the ai would have moved everything, game ended up feeling kinda random after a while because of that
i also kinda wish i could manually send stuff off when i wanted to, because either i would get it and i would lock them in place for 20 turns until the claw came, or i would manage to get it once and then spend the rest of the turns trying to figure out how to put it back together after all the toys ran away...
there was no real punishment for not granting the wish, seems strange to me - if i didn't wanna do a level i could kinda just wait around until next one and try again later... or just let it remove some toys i didnt wanna deal with in theory,
i don't even know if it's physically possible to get a 4x requirement thing in the middle.. it was difficult enough to get three and i only could do those when the placement of the claw was in the corners...
i love the artwork and theming for the game, it's really adorable ! the mechanics are interesting, i did enjoy myself until maybe when it got too hard to make any plans, a pretty stand out game in all aspects despite my gripes listed here, good game!
Thanks for the very detailed feedback! Yeah, we didn't have time to playtest the game properly as we weren't done with it until the last day of the jam. And we couldn't even update all the art and animations we wanted. We kind of bit off more than we could chew on this one lol. But glad to hear you enjoyed it despite all of the problems with the game
I really enjoyed the game! I somehow developed a strategy which I just bumping targets in a row and spamming attacks to keep them stunned. But sometimes it's quite hard to tell where I am when everyone moves at the same time. Also I felt like the goal conditions were a bit harsh, sometime I got all the green enimes but included one red still counts as loss. Nonetheless, it's a pretty solid game!

The idea is there, but the gameplay needs clearer explanation. I like the artwork, but the gameplay isn’t very engaging.
The two bins aren’t clearly introduced, and the playing area is a bit small, leaving a lot of empty space.
Happy gaming!!!
P.S.: Don’t mind the “Be me Be me!!!” title. I’m from Salus Centum: /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4812359
really cute game with cool concept. we love the idea of picking up “wishes”, though there is still little ‘dead time’ each level but we guess it might be easier that way for all kinds of player C: (cheezing u know)
overall, lovely game, nice concept, sfx and music!
Personally, I'd wish to see brighter colors and happier expressions on the toys 😊. That said, I really liked the hand-painted art style and the music!
The puzzle mechanics are straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to jump right in. The expanding game board and the behavior of the new toys keep introducing fresh situations, creating a satisfying difficulty curve.
What I enjoyed the most was the feeling of panic when the countdown lasts long enough for the other toys to spread chaos across the board. Those moments are especially fun and memorable. Great job!
Really new and cool concept. It was challenging to win the puzzle
Good idea that's rather unique. If you develop this further, i cheesed a few wins by constantly bumping into the winning prize then moving out the red box on my last turn.
Nice Concept! the idea was clear, the only thing is the gameplay is a bit harder but understandable! there is some likely "soft lock" like when the red rectangle show up on the place where you can't push the dolls neither the dolls can't move right there so you got to just moving a round to skip that round! Overall really nice use for the theme!
Neat idea, I like the art and had fun playing! Music was very groovy!
I only got to 4 or so wins tops, glad you don’t count the losses because I failed many more than that:) I found it hard to keep them out of the claw box once you have 6+ dolls on screen. When the grid isn’t on an edge, it was hard to keep anyone inside since I couldn’t really throw. The last 5 turns felt the most important, wasn’t always sure what to do in the first few since the stun didn’t last.
