I see the vision and idea. Just currently it felt a bit repetitive and like my choice did not have any impact.

voice acting goes hard, although i didnt feel like i had a choice wether to believe him or not, but it was good nonetheless

Genuinely kind of creepy. Also got me with a jump scare, haha. I like the narrator's voice a lot, but I wish he would react to what you were doing more.

Developer

Thanks for playing

You're right، I wanted the narrator to react more, but the jam time limit didn't allow it

I don't know if it was intentional but I enjoyed the effect of the doors fading in from the flashlight hitting them.

I do wish that the narrator reacted to disobeying in orders in some way, but I understand if that was beyond the scope of the jam duration.

The storytelling, voice acting, atmosphere and jump scares are great! Made me jump twice haha

I really like the idea and storytelling. I think it fits the theme really well. The programming and game implementation need some work (it froze a lot for me, I assume as it was loading things for the next scene). Good job. This is a solid submission!

Hello... So it's kinda funny. According to the description on your game it's kinda simmilar to ours XD. I thought I leave this info here, I think it's funny.

That's interesting! It's always cool to see how different devs interpret the same theme. I'd love to play your version

The game was so good, i dont usually get scared by horror games but the poly ghost still managed to jumpscare me lol. I really like how it ends and the way it approaches the theme itself. Peak game overall!

thx for playin

I didnt think I would get scared but when he ran out of the right door I actually jumped from my chair a little, great game!

This one actually made me stop and think before following instructions lol. I really liked how the game keeps putting you in situations where you have to question whether the narrator or the environment is telling the truth. The whole “do I trust this or do the opposite?” idea fits the theme really well. Solid work for a solo jam game!

Developer

thx for playing

I'll play your game

omg i really enjoyed it but I struggled BAD with anything even slightly scary and this genuinely had me jumping out of my seat get that low poly ghost freak AWAY from me.

This is the best one I've played for the theme yet, the choice between listening to yourself, the environment, the narrator, or doing the opposite of what they say had me really paranoid, and I like the similarities to The Stanley Parable a lot!

Although simple, 3D visuals for a short game jam always impress me, and I think the sharp low-poly style does add to the spooky feeling anyway so I can't fault it.

Great stuff!

Nice game! I liked it, it was successfully spooky, even if the ghost could be a bit scarier, the overall execution is nice!

It's a good game, but for the first three rooms I kept going back to try and open the first door. Also, it would have been better if the character move a bit faster.

Fun entry! Clever idea and solid execution. 👍 If you have a spare moment, my game is also in the jam — always happy to hear feedback. Good luck!
