Probably one of the most impressive-looking games I’ve seen in a game jam. Huge congrats to the artist, the visuals are seriously awesome! I also loved that you added a narrator for the intro scene haha. Great job, really nice work! 🦆

How does the game fit the theme?
Players must treat every piece of guidance from fellow Chafari scientists as lies and requires doing the exact opposite of what you are told.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Really liked the art style and puzzles. Fits the theme quite nicely as well.
What an incredibly polished entry! Very well thought out, with fantastic art direction and solid dedication to theme. We went for a similar interpretation of the theme, and really like your take on it too!
Great game! One of the most polished entries so far. I loved the idea and originality, gameplay loop was easy to engage and wasn't getting too repetitive and interactions were very well designed! But to make it even better, I'd suggest you work on soundtracks. Especially main menu music is really simple and changing it can help with your game's identity.
Really great animations and visuals! The controls feel super smooth too. Nice game!
This is a fun game that challenges your brain in a way which makes gameplay really interesting to play overall. Love the cinematic intro that naturally gives the player a chance to understand what the game's about and adds that immersive touch as well. Though there was a time the dialogue got stuck prolly because I was spamming the button when I was at the control room trying to speedrun the 'button tutorial' or what you call it so I had to wait till it caught up to the next dialogue and got time wasted because of it. Clean and stunning visuals including color palette and SFX complements the overall experience and great use of the theme! A matching recording quality of the voice narration with the clean SFX will make this perfection to be published as a complete indie game. Amazing work and congrats!
This game is really well done! The three-button tutorial is a bit long, though, especially the second time you watch it. But that's a minor detail. The style is really cool and it's fun to play. Rose is successfully frozen
Wow!!! Excellent game. Beautiful art, especially the intro. Really cool story, while still tightly following the theme. Perfect length to play but still get a satisfying ending. Really great work.
Best art I've seen this jam so far, the cutscene was sososososo good! I really liked running around the lab solving each of the puzzles. Would like to see some more difficulty added to a few of the puzzles. Maybe I just got really lucky, but the top left dudes were always telling me which should be empty, so I always just selected whatever color I didn't see. Have them switch up and say which ones should be full for example. Other than that, awesome game!
Amasing feedback! Glad you had fun!
Time was running out quickly and coming up with interesting but possible to implement puzzles was harder than we thought, something we have to look out for next time. The 'Liquids' puzzle also has a hint to 'NOT' select the color, so you might have been lucky on the randomness indeed :)
Awesome art! I had a lot of fun running around. It took me a bit to understand when to go to each room but I caught on eventually
Awesome game and the difficulty seemed just right. I won with 10 seconds left on the clock. Didn’t expect to get dark brambles flash back today though ahah.
This was really cool! The art especially was really impressive and detailed. The intro was a bit long but it was beautiful, and I always love when game jam entries have voice acting. The gameplay was also fun. Good job!!
Really nice art and animation (2D skeletal, I assume) there. The gameplay is also polished from start to end. Lots of puzzles to hustle around with too. Good job!
The art is sick. The animations and story guidance are the best I’ve seen in this jam so far, and the scene composition is a rare 10/10. The movement could be a little smoother, though—I often felt like I was floating around, unless that was intentional? Please add some more guidance for new players. It took me a long time to realize that you use the up and down keys to move on the ladder. Nice work!
