How does the game fit the theme?
This is a game with the theme "trust no one". It is heavily build around this theme, because in the game you play a small child that has tasks during the day given by the mother. But the outside world isn't very safe.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything by myself except the sound, which is completely copyright and licence free.

Really cool concept! I really liked the idea behind the game and it feels like a very creative take on the jam. Huge props for making the whole thing by yourself, especially at only 16 years old, that's genuinely impressive. You can definitely tell a lot of effort and creativity went into it. Great job! 🦆
But... Mom... I got the jam... 😭
Really nice little game! Even though it was short, I think it got creepier and creepier as it went on... Especially after it got dark and I saw that the jam shop had been robbed, I just wanted to run home as fast as possible.
But Mom... I even got the very last jar of jam... 😭
This comment had me on the floor.
thanks a lot!
Very impressive for a one week jam, especially doing a full 3D narrative game solo. The atmosphere builds up really well and I liked how things slowly start feeling more unsettling as the day goes on. I genuinely didn't suspect the mom, so the ending got me haha. Great work!
This is a great small narrative game!
I really like all the small details that make the situation feel increasingly more creepy, I also noticed that the clock on the school moves with the time of day which is a nice detail. You successfully managed to build suspense, I was genuinely on the edge each time I was asked to go outside one more time. The twist at the end was also really fun and I didn't see it coming. There is almost no gameplay but the presentation is really strong!
Keep making games and improving because you got the beginning of something great here
As you are a very young developer who has started recently, I can already see that you have potential.
Don't get me wrong, of course this game was not really fun to play as the gameplay was just go there and press E, but you nailed somehow the audio and build up a minimalistic atmosphere, with a good finale, even though the graphics were real basic. That's somewhat impressive.
So stay sharp, learn further, and you will become a great game dev for sure!
Wow I didn't see the twist coming haha good use of deception and the tense music throughout along with more and more hints of something amiss helped sell the tension. The gameplay is just walking back and forth so it would be very cool to see more game mechanics added in to make it more fun. But overall great work for someone who just recently started!
The music helped build the atmosphere quite well, the environment changes definitely adds to the suspense as well, and got me hooked.
very eerie atmosphere. The choice of music and weird random events were the perfect cocktail for capturing my attention from start to finish. The game length was ideal for a game jam. I think you have some real talent! Curious to see more games like this one.
Good job with the details!
Cool game
Well done, this game was fun to play.
Good story game, but that ending was hillarious XD it was lagging when looking out the horizon in the day
Story-driven games like these are always fun to play. Being told to go outside time and time again really increased the suspense each time. Excellent work!
Thanks for the compliment, it really means a lot to me!
No prob, hope to see more from you
Really liked the environment changes and it progressively getting darker outside.
did you also realise that the clock on the school changed over time?
nice idea
thanks!
I really liked it :) Maybe the walking is a bit slow Really impressive for a 16 y/o! I hope you’ll continue making games
btw, i already made the walking faster from a speed of 3 to 4.
