Why does the baddie bird girl have to experience such prejudice??? Alden is the only sane dude in this whole town. The ending had me in the first half not gonna lie. I got really sad and then really happy at the end. This was very good for a game done in a small amount of time! I also think it fits the theme very well. It's very interesting to see truth sleuthing mechanics tied to Bullet hell like game play (Touhou and Undertale are the two biggest examples of that I can think of) I feel like you could polish this game up more and make this it's own thing! Very good game.

That was a beautiful game in every sense! The varied gameplay was interesting & fun; the storyline was sweet & well-thought-out; the audio design was incredible; the artwork was stunning; most of all, I enjoyed it immensely. Well done for making such an amazing game!❤️

I really like the game. I would play a full game set in this world.

The conversation system has a lot of potential, but I think it lacks a "puzzle" on it. Rather than needing to use all the dialogue options to advance I wold have set that you need to use specific ones or a specific sequence to damage the opponent's conviction.

Developer

I’m so glad you like it! We actually have it so that there’s only one choice in the “talk” section of each round that will progress you to the next round. The other 1-2 options won’t deal any damage to the conviction of the opponent. But I do agree that part could be expanded or developed more!

This is a very good game !!! As someone who loves pixel art this is very beautiful and the gameplay and the narrative is fine as hell...I'd love if you rate my game too !

The atmosphere and attention to detail are excellent, and I’d really love to see this game developed further. I’m very curious to see what happens next. There were a few moments during the game where I felt a little confused, but once I understood what was going on, I found it really interesting and enjoyable.

Developer

Aww, thank you! There are definitely a lot of parts I feel could be expanded (like adding more battle variations, more NPCs to talked to, QTEs, and a more complex story/ending. But I'm happy with where we ended up and glad people like it so much :D

Overall game looks nice. Sticked to the theme point, especially tthe visual and art looks nice

Really good!

The intro gave me just enough information to draw me into the story, and then my interest was kept until the end.

Also interesting is the combination of two art styles.

The visuals are stunning!

I wasn't expecting an undertale type fight for the dialogue. Very creative approach.

Very good job!

WOW. Very few games I've seen so far are this polished. The soundtrack, environment and character art, comat mechanics, everything just feels great. There are some places where the tight schedule shows, like repeating sprites and dialouge for some NPC's, but it's completely understandable.
Really loved this one, great job!

+ Extra point for a 4th wall break

Developer

Thank you!! I also love a good fourth wall break

I really liked that the player has to choose the words carefully to convince the NPCs. Congrats on developing a full game with nice artwork, plot and mechanics!

Love the art and animation of the game. Really like that there's a settings page as well. The mini games are also a great addition. The choice of sfx are really suitable too!

Developer

Thank you!

That was lovely! Very interesting gameplay mechanic that I enjoyed! Ending felt a lil sudden with the wrap up but overall I liked it ^^

Excellent job! This is a very robust game with cohesive art direction, compelling narrative, and engaging gameplay! :)

The way the shadows cast on the walls match the player’s emotional state was really well done, it added to the atmosphere.

Wow, this was great!

Outstanding art! I love the dialogue system. You did an amazing job on this jam.

I'm speechless. Such an amazing narrative game. It's so complete, and the art is incredible. The Undertale-style gameplay is incredibly fitting, and the story, as simple as it was, felt like it had so much depth, like it had a whole world built behind it. Very well done!

Developer

Thank you! I was the writer and artist, and I worked really hard to create a compelling main character and motivations for all of the characters!
