The aesthetics were gorgeous, really excellent for a jam game and it was so satisfying just to wander around in the snow and look at the lights. Just a small piece of feedback but I clicked into the credits and then there didn't seem to be any way to skip or speed them up, which would've been appreciated!

Lovely game! The art style is really cute.
I especially loved the swamp lights, they add this slightly creepy vibe to an otherwise very cozy and charming picture, which is really cool. The mix of 2D and 3D is awesome too! If character could run, it would be absolutely perfect.
I'm not sure if you can get a different ending or if that's even possible, but I really enjoyed it. The game feels clean and pleasant, even though I didn't fully get how it connects to the theme.

The presentation here is fantastic. I absolutely love the art style and the mix of 2D characters with the 3D environment, and the music and sound create a really charming atmosphere. The whole sauna setting is wonderfully unusual too. I especially liked the guy who feels sorry for the firewood. :-D

Once I understood what the game wanted from me, I went back for all three endings. The “good” ending definitely caught me off guard.

I still think the game could communicate the different paths and consequences a little more clearly, since my first run left me pretty confused. But once I understood what was going on, I appreciated the idea a lot more. Very charming, original and beautifully presented.

omg love the art. It was really satisfying to walk on snow.

Trying to keep this comment spoiler free.
This is a beautiful game, and I genuinely loved the sound design as well! I will say the fact that the wisps still stays even after following its trail makes it kind of confusing, and it was not very clear what happens during the "good ending" but I loved your play on the theme!! I also loved the world building elements and just the vibe of the game so much and obviously the 2.5D art is gorgeous. I really do wonder how you guys were able to pull this off in such a short amount of time! Thank you for gracing my eyes hahaha

P.S. The idea of the game was surprisingly very similar to our first idea our team had except we realised the way our initial idea developed had a scope far too big for us to even begin trying to do it for a game jam, especially on our first one.. so I'm genuinely very impressed by how you guys were able to keep the scope small and execute the idea so well!! Well done :)

The art and music and awesome and I like the idea behind the story. I feel like it wasn't super intuitive to figure out what to do and what might trigger the different endings. Overall very fun.

A very calm and cozy game. I needed to look at the guide for the bad ending as it seems I'm unable of not following glowing lights when given the option.

I wold have preferred if you could do the task without the need to talk with the corresponding NPC, or at least for the objects to have alternative dialogues for when you find them before.

The art and sound is top-notch. Calm when needed and unnerving on some situations.

This sauna game is very very cozy! I really loved the atmosphere. The sound design is especially well done. The moment the sound of the ice changed, it   actually gave me chills because I genuinely felt like I was about to fall through :D

The art style is also really cool and fits the whole atmosphere perfectly. Overall, a really charming and memorable little game, well done!

The game is visually stunning and I really liked the plot twist! Did everything right from the start but took me a while to realize I can use marinade not only on the sausages. :D Great job!

Truly, truly an amazing job, easily the best game I've played in this jam visually. Somewhat reminds me of Paper Mario, I really can't overstate how amazing this looks. The music and SFX are also great and the plot is right on theme (no spoilers for others who read the comments first). Fantastic job!

I actually really liked the 3D 2D combo you did. Has an interesting feel to it. I think you did what I was trying to pull off, but you kept the scope much smaller, which let you do it more successfully than I did. I was expecting a much creepier game, but it was more... cozy? than I expected. The characters were strange and creepy for sure, but with all endings none of them turned out to be some human devouring monster (at least not that we can confirm). I would have liked to know more about the bones in the western part of the map, but I assume that was something not fully implemented before the deadline.

answering to this since you were wondering (thank you so much for playing and commenting!!), so major SPOILERS for this game..!

-

in the ending you get by following the wisps, it turns out that the character you're playing as is heating up the sauna to burn it and eat everyone :D it might not have been clear, so that's our fault, but it's what we were going for! the bones were meant as a clue along with the old burnt sauna. so, every winter solstice the main character prepares a feast out of the sauna visitors by burning them in the sauna and then eating the flesh from their bones...

but we accept any interpretation of this game's story!

I won't start with talking about the art, so let's talk about the music: It was really nice and calming, though.. that tree.. I kinda cannot trust it. There's still something that I couldn't yet explain. I see the strange characters but like, why close to that tree is it so.. unsettling? and why is there a [spoiler] skull close to it? Well, I kinda wanted to have these questions answered, I tried to go for the 'bad ending' but I think I went for it twice, even though the first time I seasoned the sausages and not the other item( of which name I don't remember). The art was awesome, I liked the mix of 3d and 2d, was quite good for this game. I wasn't able to interact with the lake as the guide told me so not sure if that's a bug. Also, I didn't know there was the tree guy or how could I reach it because it seemed like the area he's in wasn't walkable, since there was no clear path or wisp. Overall cool game, did you get it? Not funny? Alright my bad.

The art is really nice, and the audio is also well done! I like the writing, and I think I see how the game fits the theme! I also like the mix between 2D and 3D, which is really nicely implemented! Everything felt nice and polished, and I very much enjoyed playing this one! Keep it up :D

I really liked how, right from the start, you can tell something feels off, and the music really helps build the atmosphere. I also loved the cozy feeling of the game!

I only got one ending. I managed to get the water and the logs, but couldn’t figure out how to get the food. I might revisit the game later and give it another try.

Also, I really love the 2D/3D mix and the overall aesthetic. Love the game!

Cool game! I loved the 2D art of the game and the music, they both came together to make a really cozy vibe! I was kind of confused how the game fits into the theme though, maybe it had to do with the ending I didn't unlock lol (I wasn't able to satisfy my guests lol). Overall very well done!

This game looks amazing, quite the environmental detail, and you nailed the 2D/3D mix. The wisps kept appearing for me after I'd seen them in a spot before, so that was a bit confusing. I was also a bit confused on what else I was supposed to be doing near the end.

It'd be great to see a bit more beyond just walk to place, pick/do thing, but this is really impressive to see done for a jam with the amount of detail and character you've built into this world. Definitely some intrigue, but I just needed a bit more detail and insight into the character I'm embodying.

Nice game! I feel like there's more lore going on than I'm understanding, but the story that I did get was pretty chill and cozy. I liked the art style as well, it was very pretty!

I‘m not a fan of 2.5d aesthetic but this one's stunning! The atmosphere is terrific, and really love the sound.
