How does the game fit the theme?
Without spoiling too much, there are many game mechanics that lie to you(but not always).
Also, you are employed by No One.
You can trust No One.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sounds are from royalty free websites(namely pixabay.com). The font is VCR OSD Mono. Other than that, all art, code, and sounds were made by me or my teammate.

How many people worked on the game?

Very cool and original idea! Love the old school vibes.  I would be into playing like a longer narrative-driven mystery-style game like this.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Our main inspiration for this was Duskers, which has some story elements, but I believe their new game Duskers 2.0 that is coming out later is more narrative focused.

So beautifull and original. A masterclass, well done :)

Developer

A masterclass?? I'm glad you liked it that much!!

I love everything about this. this is super impressive and cool, you should be super proud!

Thank you so much!!!

Really cool DOS vibes and very original idea! Great job making such a complex game within 1 week :D

Visuals and sounds are a match from heaven and both really good!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Damn nice game you got there, reminded me of superhot and fnaf, great work !

Developer

Thanks! Never thought of superhot as a reference, but then I remembered the start of the game. I definitely subconsciously remembered the computer startup from that game.

The terminal interface combined with those ASCII camera feeds creates such an unsettling, tense atmosphere!
Fantastic execution by the duo, easily one of the most atmospheric entries in the jam!

very cool game. Our games share some similarities (even used same old computer startup sound), so maybe I'm a bit biased 👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks! I played your game, and noticed that yeah... Your game is amazing too! (I rated it very highly!)

nice work ngl also this gave a fnaf plus terminal vibe

Thanks!

Really cool thing to have the game be mostly just text! Dont know why but both the web version and the windows heavily lagged for me (Might be from my part) - so I didnt get far - but great idea and visuals! Great job :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! From what I have seen, the shaders can tank some devices performance. You can disable these in the options menu!

Vibey game with amazing sound. It reminds me of those games where you have to look for anomalies. It took me a while to figure out what to do and where to click, maybe I’m just not made for these kinds of games  :_ )

Developer(+1)

Thank you! There isn't mouse support given that it is based on computer terminals. But I'm glad you enjoyed!

cool!

Developer

Yay!

I have to say, great job with the design, the idea is pretty cool, the visualizations using terminal is really well implemented. I wish there was a way to see the map and know about which rooms have thermal sensors, while you were in the command line, so you wouldn't have to always check the map to see which doors to close or to check if a room has thermal sensor or not. Also, I believe some of the user's input are saved in the input buffer but doesn't show it in the terminal, which makes the right command invalid and I had to write some of the commands twice because the first one was giving me errors. I really appreciate you work, Well Done.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I must say I don't understand what you are referring to with users input... If it's on the browser version it makes sense though, that version is severely undertested.

The atmosphere is quite something, for sure. Nice take on the theme, also the enviroment is well builded, nice job and great entry!

Developer(+1)

Atmosphere and environment were what I was going for! Thanks!

really love the terminal design and the gameplay, but I found the intro pretty long, specially since you have to wait for the chat to proceed instead of clicking something for going faster.  But it's a personal preference since I'm a fast reader, nothing mood wrecking or anything ^^

Great job <3

Developer

I did update NoOne to talk way faster in 1.1, but it might still be slow. I wanted it to feel like you had to wait for him to actually type out the next line, like you were actually texting him. Although this might have been a little much, I agree. But I'm glad you liked it nonetheless!

Great game, I particularly enjoyed all the sound effects!

Personally, I found NoOne's intro a little slow, not sure whether I missed a way to read through it quicker?

Well done :)

I liked the art style, the terminal aesthetic, and the sound design. The gameplay is very original. I think it might be a bit too much at the beginning I felt kind of lost but once I got into it, it became a really good experience.
