Took me a second to get the character ideas, but I like the idea!

How does the game fit the theme?
It is a game about trying to find a fake among some silly little creatures, so you can't trust any of them at first.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music and all sound effects except for the chomp one

I loved this one!! The overall vibe is just fantastic (loved the visuals and audio), and I found the gameplay entertaining and, most importantly, very easy to understand. Great entry!!
I really liked the 2D characters, they have charisma. The game is great, although sometimes it's really hard to tell who the impostor is. Good game :)
Loved the silly and cute visuals. and it was also funny. also it was nice that the levels were infinite. but at some point i was only finding the fake friends by luck(and im an unlucky person.). so it was fun and silly. and i loved the chracters and their funny names! the song was looping so much. it could be even better if there was more then one sung so it wont ruin ur mind while playing an infinite game.
(also if you had free time , pls check out our game too )

The game was a bit too deduction-heavy for my personal taste, but I'm generally not a big puzzle player anyway. That said, the character design won me over completely! A management or sim game centered entirely around taking care of these characters, upgrading them, and expanding on that charming little creature-swarm dynamic would be right up my alley.
I feel like a got lucky a lot, but still had a good time with these little guys.
This can be turned into a full idle pet raising game. The characters/creatures have their charm.
I don't know if each puzzle is truly solvable based solely on the creatures' characteristics. I sometimes blamed a creature based on a sense of randomness. In any case, bravo. Feeding a Bolp is really satisfying :) I had fun testing your game. The system is very cleverly designed. I imagine that you definitely can keep working on this project which has a clear potential.
All the puzzles should be solvable with what the game gives you, but if you get the right answer by getting lucky I think that's in the game's chill and silly spirit anyway. It does make it less satisfying considering there aren't that many puzzles but I'm glad you had fun anyway! (Also yeah the level where you feed the Bolp in a circle is one of my favorites even though it's really really easy haha)
This is a really fun little puzzle game! I actually quite enjoyed it with its silly music and sound effects. The creature sprites and names are quite fun and silly too. Some bugs/suggestions I have is that if you overlap 2 creatures and right click them, it shows both messages and plays both sound effects, and also some sort of short tutorial at the start would be nice since you don't need to read the description to understand the game. But overall, really fun and silly little game and I REALLY enjoyed this!
Thanks for the feedback! I did run into that bug too but then forgot to patch it on the final version, oops... I also was planning on there being a short tutorial and an in-game way to check all the characteristics of a given Friend, but I ran out of time. As I said in another comment, I may polish the game a bit more and add more Friend types and puzzles after the jam is done because I do think this game has more potential than I could deliver in the jam time. Glad you enjoyed it though, thanks again!
love the visuals and audio! a little how to play in the engine itself would be a nice little improvement :)
OMG.. Such a cute little brain twister! Not too hard no too easy.
It feels so good when you find the Faker. The puzzels were really fun to solve. I like the goofy art style too. Good job.
