How does the game fit the theme?
since its about trust no one
having an interrogator game where you question suspects and nothing seems obvious makes up for the trust no one theme
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
we made all of the assets ourselves exept for tow addons for godot which the credits are included in the in-game's about panel
How many people worked on the game?4

Loved it so much, such high quality!
So PEAK for only one week, GREAT JOB! I'm very impressed with the visuals and I genuinely spent more time drawing in the notebook than interrogating people, and it was a good challenge in the end!
yay i made that mechanic just to draw in the game :3
one of the best games I played so far! absolutely killer presentation, super immersive and i also like that you play as a cat it's a really fun touch! I really appreciate that the game gives a lot of options, including turning off the filter I don't se that very often
I didn't the case itself to be too difficult, but I enjoyed a lot just how immersive the game felt, I found the first person interactive format to make the detective aspect a lot more engaging than a visual novel format. The crime scene was set up in a compelling way with lots of clues and I really like that it encouraged me to make use of every tool in pretty cool ways,
at first I was a little confused on how to pick a suspect and I actually softlocked myself by pressing q while in the suspects menu so i had to restart, but then I figured out what to do (tho it would have been helpful if that part was explained too or at the very least handled in a better way, maybe have an x button like with the notebook)
I would genuinely love to see concept be expanded upon in a full game with more complex mysteries it would make for such a fun detective game game!!
mao.. thx.. we will probably continue working on this game
I wasn't able to run it! It has all to do with my tiny laptop, nothing on your end. It has a hard time running 3-D games. Sorry I couldn't return the favor, but from the settings and the pictures alone it looks like a fantastic game :]
dats okii :3
That was amazing, the gameplay loop is very fun with collecting and documenting evidence all by yourself.
The mystery was solid, I had a good head scratcher before choosing the suspect and I even got it right! I like how it wasn't too obvious but also made sense in the end.
The pixelated 3D visuals and eerie music really add to the atmosphere
Great job!
thx :3
Damn, the ui and overall game quality like that in 7 days only, u guys are crazy. Good work
thx :3
Yooooooo, what a game!!! Absolutely loved the pixelated 3D aesthetic. Always love that look. Reminds me of the 3D games on the DS back in the day. Surprisingly really fleshed out and polished toolkit. Great work team!
yeppi :D
Pspspspurrfect submission. :3 Seeing the ''other bs'' option in the settings menu made me laugh at first. The game looks great, environment is phenomenal. I doubt I used the notebook item to its full potential :D I took notes of all the times, names and pinned the photos I took. However I couldn't move some photos properly so they ended up stuck at the bottom of the page :( If the game continues development i think a feature to rearrange photos in the notebook should definitely be added. The sensitivity felt a bit weird. But the ambiance, visuals and the idea already captivated me!
maooo :3 thanks for the feedback we will make sure to improve it after the jam
cute game!
:3
This is cool! If the game would've been a little bit more optimized, that'd be awesome, because it ran bad in my pc >:>
try the binary please… i will optimize more soon but Godot’s web is usually trash if its used for 3d
im asking this to check if even the binary ver needs optimization
Detective cat game twins! Really loved the atmosphere on this one, the notes and tools were all super cute additions too.
thx :3 (i loved ur game too)
the fisheye plus pixel filter on a 3d office with those big paws in frame is a really strong look, walked up to the desk with the rotary phone and the red string corkboard and was instantly in detective mode. cycling tools with e felt good too, nice work
thx :3
