I actively had to tell myself "okay, enough playing, you have other things to do" with this one, because it's really really addicting! The idea of a tower defense where all the towers can harm you is really creative, and it leads to a super fun gameplay loop where you lead the enemies to the towers so they can be killed by them (hence why Pylon was my favorite of the turret). The roguelike elements also made the game stay fresh regardless of how much I played it. This has the potential of getting expanded into a full release, just needs more enemy types, additional towers and actual character sprites for the player and enemies

The gameplay was really fun! So many different upgrades. I liked that you had to avoid your own towers' attacks as an expression of the theme. At first the game started out easy but as you progress through more and more waves it truly turns into a proper bullet hell. Eventually I had the whole center my screen filled with four-beam, high-damage pylons and I was just leading massive herds of bad guys into it while desperately avoiding all of the projectiles that were all over the place. Awesome work!
Pretty neat idea. It may sound harsh but I wasn't expecting something so refined when looking at your screenshot. You really can't judge a book by its cover.
Love the variety of upgrades and ennemies you have going.
It's a shame that your towers are overall so weak, It makes the early game a bit of a slog. Once you get some upgrades going the game becomes a lot more fun. That's especially true for the canon tower, it's my favorite, but that projectile is just so slow.
Solid entry.
Hey, thanks for your feeback!! This is what you get when a solo programmer tries to make some pixel art hahaha, but yes I agree with you, balancing is one of those things that missed the mark a bit. In the time I had with the playtest I had I did the best but this kind of balancing does indeed take a lot more playtesting, but still, hope you enjoyed and had fun! Thank you for your time and feedback!
what a cool idea on the theme and its very well executed, pretty good game i like it
Died in the first cupple of seconds and needed a bit to understand the concept xD, other than that really fun game and nice concept xD
amazing game , nice sound and simple but good art its very enjoyable especially with the balancing being good
Its so fun and the game play is so unique like a tower defence game with a twist
Very good theme interpration! simple to understand and has replayability. Lot of potential for a full release too which i'd be interested in!
(Only small nitpick is the lack of a web build, while i dont mind that much, many might skip out on it)
very nice game, great Gameplay and very good Innovation and Enjoyment - good job
It's basically skyrim. I liked the way the upgrade system balances out.
The upgrades curve very well with the enemy difficulty up to around level 30, after that I got really op and it turned into an idle game just sitting on the shields while the pylons killed everything.
Overall, great job I would enjoy playing a finished version of this.I like the game, but the controls/puzzles were a bit hard to figure out at first—it took me 5 minutes to realize I had to press 1, 2, 3, or 4. I also didn't quite catch the 'Trust No One' theme. Overall, I really enjoyed it and gave you full stars for Gameplay, Innovation, Audio and Enjoyment. Keep up the good work!
