How does the game fit the theme?
You're a night caretaker closing up an office. As you work, the building stops being consistent. A lock you saw is gone, a door you came through locked behind you. The thing you can't trust isn't a person, it's what you saw.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music: 'Undead Rising' by Matthew Pablo (CC BY). Sound effects from pixabay and opengameart. Textures from ambientCG. Some 3D props from the Unity Asset Store.

Great job building tension and confusion. I REALLY didn't want to go in that vent.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Well, the atmosphere was good but the when the horror music kicked in… combined with the red light … CHILLS
THANKS FOR THIS CHILLING ENTRY
Thank you so much! If you have any criticisms with the game, please do let me know :>

Thank you so much! I'll definitely try your game too. If you have any criticisms with my game, please do let me know, as I'm trying to improve :>
It was unexpected to see a solo developer to go 3D in this jam. Game was great especially considering its fluent and works in WebGL. I got the both endings but the first one (when you miss the time) it was extremely hard to see since you put so much contrast into red color. And I could not understand how the game fit into "Trust No One". However overall it was a good game!
Here's a tip, when next time making a first person walking simulator, give "overlay cameras" a try. By doing that your keys would not glitch into walls and still be visible.
Oh yes, overlay cameras! I completely forgot about that. I'll keep that in mind for next time :>
The Trust No One theme is more up to interpretation. In my game, you can't trust the game world itself. That was kinda the angle I was going for. Thank you so much for your feedback though :)
Wow, nice game! At first, I was pretty confused about what to do, and I think a small introduction explaining the basics could have helped. I would have loved to have a bit more guidance at the beginning because I was just randomly walking around and going everywhere without really knowing what I was supposed to do. But I kept trying, and reading other people's comments actually helped me figure it out!
I agree that the sound in the game also adds to the anxiety-inducing atmosphere. Otherwise, I see a lot of potential! I think adding more decorative elements could have been great for the narrative and atmosphere, but I totally understand that it was already a lot to accomplish considering the timeframe we had.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do on some floors. I would have loved a bit more guidance on that, as I'd love to play it again!
Good job, and the visuals are super clean!!!!
Thank you so much! I probably should have made the checklist in the top right corner a little more visible, you're right. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future jams!
Made it home but that took a lot of prep to accomplish haha the music added a lot of tension. My first attempt it got to 3 am and everything was red and so were all the keys so I didn't know which one was the one to open the door to the vent lolll. I definitely did not accomplish the goal of closing up the office but oh wells
Thank you so much! Yeah, one of my play testers said the same thing about the keys. I'll definitely keep these things in mind for my future games ❤️
I liked the sudden shift to a stress inducing search for the key, got my heart racing. It's a nice shift from calmly switching off the lights.
Thank you so much! If you have any criticisms with the game, please do let me know :>
Fun game ! I like the idea !
Thank you so much! ❤️
Great game! I felt really tense and even got jumpscared by the text appearing. Just one suggestion: it would be nice if the players couldn’t proceed to the next floor until they had completed the goals.
Thank you so much! That is a great suggestion. To be fair, I was originally planning to do that, but I overscoped and couldn't fit all my ideas into this game in 1 week. :<
Great game please rate my game
Will do! Thank you for playing mine :)
very spooky atmosphere! I like it!
Thank you so much :>
Atmosphere really got me there. no jumpscare but scared the hell out me
Thank you so much ❤️
I was locked inside the room in my first playthrough and didn't find a way out so I had to refresh (I understand it was part of the gameplay). I think I saw the vent and maybe you are supposed to crawl through the vent to get out? But I couldn't enter the vent. The office gave out an eerie, creepy feeling, magnified by the white noise. It feels especially creepy because I've been the last one to exit my office and I've had to close doors and lights to everything and the feeling this gave me reminded me of those times. All in all, a very interesting game. I think the best part was that you took a very normal event and managed to evoke a kind of silent horror in me. The art style, and sounds you chose were a perfect fit for the game. It was a very innovative take on the theme imo.
Thank you so much! I'm really sorry I didn't give such an in depth review of your game too.
Here:
When I played your game, I immediately liked the movement. It was a nice break from all the fast paced games for sure. The movement also felt really nice and fluid. I found two bloody knives though, maybe that was intentional. I also liked the way the notes were made, and the "Don't go out!" notes were really suspicious, and some of the other notes felt really dark, and it hit hard. I had trouble selecting options in the game because the cursor was locked (Eventually figured out a way to cheese it), and the camera clipping plane was a little near, and when I walked into a door it scared me, I thought I got jumpscared lmao. I really liked the map though, and the props you chose felt cohesive. Thanks again for your kind words ❤️
Really fun game!! I got two endings, but I still couldn't figure out how to lock the blue door TT
I absolutely loved the final RUN FOR THE BUS part XD The music sounded so urgent that I got really nervous and thought a serial killer was about to show up... but nope, I was just desperately trying to catch the 2 o'clock bus.
After all that, I think I've officially become a master at locking doors XD
Thank you lol. If you have any criticisms please do let me know, as I'm trying to become a better game dev (and I just KNOW that this game is quite bad, so there maybe be at least a few criticisms you may have). ❤️
Actually, I don't think the game is bad at all XD
If I had to give one piece of feedback, I think it would be nice if locking the doors had some kind of payoff at the end! Since I spent so much time trying to lock everything, I kind of expected it to affect the ending somehow XD
But I had a lot of fun with it, especially the last part!Even just a little achievement for successfully locking all the doors (except the blue one on the third floor) and turning off all the lights, like “Employee of the Month” or “Boss’s Favorite Employee,” would make it feel more rewarding XD
Oh yeah, I overs coped the project, which is why I had to cut some things out, but I planned to add a pay slip at the end like in FNaF 1 and 2, but I couldn't unfortunately :<
I really enjoyed the creepy vibe on this entry. I wasn't able to get to the end because my temps started going crazy when I started playing, but from what I was able to play I really enjoyed. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much! I tried to bake the lights, but it started glitching in the web build (even the unbaked lights started glitching, as you could evidently see from the gameplay, unlike the screenshots where the lighting is proper), so I decided not to bake the lights. I try to fix the issue next time I make a game. ❤️
feeling like its some sort of game uhh how is it called...floor 8? room 8? whatever i dont remeber that name. your game is cool tho
Thank you so much! ❤️
I'm so sorry, but I am unable to play your game because it is only available for windows :<
Awesome game! I got scared when the office turned red and the game gave me a timer. Luckily, there were no jumpscares! I really liked the vibe, the objectives, and the little twist at the end. Amazing job.
Thank you so much! If you have any criticisms, please do let me know, as this was my first jam and I want to improve ❤️
Nice game, really enjoyable. I liked the twist and how it got creepier as it got closer to the ending. I wasn't expecting that.
Thank you so much for playing ❤️
I'm really sorry, but I am unfortunately not able to play your game because it is only available on windows :<
You really nailed the atmosphere. It's a little flawed in it's execution, especially having to go back and forth to exchange keys can get a little redundant. The mouse sensitivity made things a bit difficult, but it was still manageable. Overall, good job on a complete experience.
Thank you so much! Yes, I know the keys were boring, but I had some better ideas for this game, and unfortunately I couldn't fit them all in 1 week, but I'm actually thinking of remaking this game some day. The current mouse sensitivity isn't even that bad compared to the first version I shipped in the jam (it was almost double before), I guess I should have added a mouse sensitivity slider for the edge cases. My mouse has a high DPI, so I needed a high sensitivity. Thank you for your kind words ❤️
Very nice game :)
Aw man your game looks so pretty, but there's no macOS port of the game :<
dont you use wine or something? i can try to make one shouldn’t be hard when using unity :)
I hope this works https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UhJ8nDsWK_cyBdSnYgIyJ_8zwI1X3bwH/view?usp=drive_link
Sorry I couldn’t upload it to the itch.io files I Hope you like it :)
Thank you for the reference. I'll try to play your game now!
