How does the game fit the theme?
Although there is no person-to-person interaction in this game that was rapidly made in about 5 days, there are definitely certain scenes that will test whether you should trust or not. For instance, in the third room, should you trust the person who wrote the record? Or the person who recorded it into the computer? (If you can even get there, that is...)

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None! All by myself, an Indie Developer!

This game is such a brain teaser!! Making a puzzle game like this must take so much thought and planning!

As a non-native English speaker, reading all that pixel-font English was really exhausting XD By the final puzzle, I ended up just using the process of elimination and trying the answers one by one.

I do wish the story had been explained a little more clearly, though. When the ending suddenly said that someone would come looking for me, I wasn't really sure what had actually happened or what it meant.

Really interesting and fun game overall! I had a great time solving the puzzles! :D

Thanks for the review! The ending simply meant that the story is not over and that a sequel would come

Fun puzzle game with cute pixel visuals! The rooms really makes it feel like an escape game. I like the robot and swaying dandelion design a lot. Preferred if there was some intro at the start as I took some time to understand what was going on. Also agree with the other commentor that said that some letters look a bit confusing. Found the bgm to be a bit distracting and I turned it off.

Overall Game looks fantastic ! A variation of puzzle game but sticked to the theme point.

I love pico 8! I play pico 8 pretty often on my Miyoo Mini +. I managed to get past the first room, but unfortunately don't know morse code. Great work!

Cute 8bit art visuals and interesting concept too that meshes with the theme well! The letters of the font can be confusing like the W/U and V/Y so it took some time for me to understand the letters and words shown and get used  to it. The music is kind of repetitive in a way that I couldn't focus or enjoy solving the puzzle which I have to turn it off in order to continue hahahah maybe something that's more calmer but can also give that eerie vibes too for the mystery factor. I was confused specifically in the computers puzzle, where after I input the date, It teleports me back to the previous puzzle place and 'll just mostly see the I remember part in almost every interaction. It got me confuse what it meant and I looked into the dev logs too in case but alas, I got stuck there. Adding SFX could also help provide more clarity to the player so that they know what they've done after interaction like if they solved it right or wrong for example.

I see potential in this game especially that the story concept is interesting too so great work and congrats once again!

Perhaps it was a bad idea to try playing this at night before going to bed...

It’s a decent puzzle game; it made me think about solutions, read the clues carefully and rack my sleepy brains.

On the downside, the repetitive music gets on the nerves very quickly.

I’m curious to see how the story turns out in the end

pretty cool

I'm always impressed by people that choose to make puzzle games for these, I know I couldn't do it

What a tough little game! You had me bring out a pen and paper for the morse code section! Still though, while tough, was quite enjoyable.

Always liked 8 bit puzzle based games ! soemthing very simple yet elegant about these games that words cant just show its a feeling of sorts besides very good effort, I like your game very much !

The 8bit style was really cool, the puzzles really need brains, I even checked the dev logs but couldn't get past the first door :'( Great Job with the games. I'll try again after future dev logs for level 1

i do wish the font was slightly more clear other than that very nice game!!

This is a very well made game through and through. The graphics are charming, while still providing visual clarity. And the puzzles are complex and well thought out. I'm kinda bad at escape rooms and puzzles, so uhh I didn't get very far.  I will be returning to this game, when my brain starts working again.

When working on the part two, maybe add a tutorial or some parts to explain what kind of puzzles the game has/uses. But its not a necessary.

I think this is a really good puzzle/escape room game, I'm just, really bad at puzzle/escape room games.

Keep up the good work!

The aesthetics are nice but a  lot of things can be changed to make the game more easier/accesible.

Some personal feedback:
The font is not very clear.
The rules of the game are not explained well, as each room seems to have a different mechanic and doesn't hand hold. I had to look for hints in comments and stuff to decode things. Maybe having tutorials  and introducing puzzles slowly would help.

Im assuming this is a nice game based on the other reviews

but honestly I didn't really understand what I need to do hahaha

would be nice if there was some kind of explanation at the beginning:)

Man this is so hard :(. Super fun though, great game. One piece of advice I would have is to make a few beggining easy levels before making the game as difficult as you want it to be. This way gamers who are not as skilled can have a chance too and the niche of the game can be expanded.

Needs brain! I like it .
