Amazing concept with an immersive atmosphere with the frantic multitasking of driving a taxi and interrogating passengers to solve cases made for a brilliantly engaging experience.
It was a very interesting concept. I did find it a little boring at some parts but I do think that overall the game is great. Great job though!
Very interesting concept. Found that sticking to the middle is usually the easiest to avoid trash cans. Really cool that you have to actually listen to people so you can deduce the culprit.
Also had a laugh trying to quit the game.
The multi-tasking in today's world is very on topic and the theme came out well as well with the whole detective thing. I think it would have been cool if there were some more taxi tasks like stopping at the houses to pick people up etc, just to add more to the game.
Great job overall
Dude I really enjoyed the game, the idea was pretty cool, the dialogues were fine, but the lighting was really low and everywhere was really dark, it made it really hard to actually see and avoid the trash. I also with you could so something with money but considering the tight deadline, it was a damn good job.
Very cool game! Idk if raming too many trash cans do something besides lowering your score at the end, because I got on red numbers a lot at first and nothing happened.
Having to read the suspects testimonies at the same time you drive it is a very fun and innovative mechanic, I loved it! I was in tension all the time because it is so dark I dont quite see the obstacles, but I think that makes it more interesting, very good job!
I only have a mac or linux, so I couldn’t try this. :(
Can you post mac or linux builds?
Cool little game. I loved the atmosphere and settings. Would be nice if you add headlight to the car.
Thanks for the feedback :) Headlights - a really good idea!
So any game with distracted driving is a big plus for me. I couldn't really see the obstacles on the road. I really love the simple driving design. It's enough to keep your attention, but not like a whole thing. You did a nice job with the environment.
Thanks a lot!
It's a great example of how to combine simple mechanics. I was completely hooked on the game. I'd be happy if you'd check out our game, too.
I love the atmosphere of this game, visuals and audio. At first, I was too focus on the case and talking so I ended up having negative money in the first 30s lol, but those cases were interesting. Great game!
Thank you so much! I'm especially glad you enjoyed the cases!
This was truly a nice experience. Most of the categories under avaliation could be described by "Simple but amazing".
My only critique is that the cases were pretty easy. That's probably intentional to compensate the fact you're solving them while dodging trash cans. But there were no noticeable punishment for hitting them, so it kinda cancels out.
Despite that, amazing game, I'll give it a solid 9/10
Thank you!
Actually, I also had a feature that would let you start over from the beginning if you ran out of money, but out of fear of introducing new bugs at the last minute—or simply because it might be unfair—I decided against it.
Infinite runner + detective game is a really cool and original combo !
I had fun, well done !
Thanks a lot :)
I like the sound effects, aesthetic and music choice. The concept is pretty cool, I like that you can drive the car and also honk the horn haha. the 3 exit game ui panels was unique. I think you should have tried to replace the menu screens default looking unity assets. This could be expanded for sure with something like more stops a long the way and fleshing out the dialogue and investigating.
Thanks, I'm really glad to hear that! I also had a few ideas on how to expand it, but in the end, I just ran out of time.
