How does the game fit the theme?
The game you are playing is connected to the theme “Trust No One” in that the narrator, Dee, is not completely honest with you. She tricks you into thinking that it is just a simple platformer, but soon realizes that things are not going the way that she planned on them going.
You soon realize that the world is much weirder than what you were originally led to believe.
The whole idea is that you cannot trust Dee, and you can't necessarily trust the world that she has placed you in either.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music was made by my brother. Everything else was made by me during the jam.

I agree with what a lot of people are saying in that the color palette could have a bit more contrast. I love the idea, but I couldn't wrap my head around what a slice was, or what Z, X, Q or E would do at any given time, which led to a bit of frustration. With a bit more tutorialization, this could be a real brain-bender! Great job on the execution!
Great game! I confess, I was expecting the camera to move at the end to show all the levels in 3D (and the slice in 3D too).
I did not get into the game. I'm not sure whether I was soft-locked or just couldn't see the way forward. Unless the game changes later, the tone and contrast felt a bit dark and dull.
Well done on your submission.
Thanks yea I didn't really come across that I'm planning to make an update to fix some issues and the color palette. :D
Good game. I'm guessing you took inspiration from Fez? A bit more clarification to what a "slice" mean would be nice; I don't quite understand the mechanic of moving/rotating, I just figured "press xz qe a certain amount of times to finish the level".
Simple and fun to play! One thing I’d change is making the player and platforms a bit brighter so they stand out more against the background. Overall, you did a pretty good job!
This game was really fun and creative. Really loved the mechanics!
fun idea, good implementation! Smooth, good theme fit, i like it! Keep it up!
Cool and fun mechanics! Took me awhile to understand as you need to hold for a certain amount of time to see something happening. It would be good to have some sort of feedback when Q or E is being pressed :>. Overall fun game!
Really fun game! I love the idea of being able to move the platforms underneath! :D
Funny game! At first, I couldn't understand exactly what was happening, but I got it pretty quickly. I also had a weird problem where sometimes it didn't register my inputs I couldn't move or rotate. Overall, I liked the game. Very original!
I really enjoyed this game. The visuals are great, and the controls feel smooth and satisfying. My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more content.
Hi. What you did really well is keep the game understandable even when there's tons of stuff going on the player can't see. It does however mean that after level two all levels started feeling the same, this is also partly because I thought the levels were pretty hard and took long to beat. Maybe you could've made rotating mandatory and introduced it after level 6.
The rotating mechanic was really cool. The way rotating it a little bit gave you extra to time to react when your current platform was disappearing was a bit of an aha moment.
Currently I feel the controls are a bit too hard for how long a level takes to beat holding down one button. I kept getting almost to the end, then dying, and then having to sit there and hold the x or z button for 10 seconds again. The way I'd change this is by making the platforming simpler, and then making it so releasing x or z continues to move it in that direction until you hit the other button. In other words, it can't sit still. Now make a grace period for how long you can't change the direction, and you get a much more hectic hard than precision hard. If you then also make the speed of the z slider go up, that'd be great. You could of course merge both buttons to one button and make it start going automatically at the start of a level.
While writing this I'm really noticing how much of a bummer it is that the music keeps resetting when you die or beat a level. It's really good, bro.
Overall game looks good, sticked to the theme point . Especially visuals and art looks nice.
Really liked the dimension idea!! I like how it plays as well, though I would say the puzzles felt less like puzzles and it just required trial and error like Fresh said. This is nicely done :)
such a peak game one of the best entries ive played yet fr. the music suited the whole vibe u were going for nicely!
ig u used a 3d world for the level building and then moved the 3d plane through it but wtv u did was really cool! well done
Fun fact all levels were made with 2D and I just moved some z positions. That's it :D
ohh thats really cool. knowing this the game feels much more intuitive to play ngl
I really enjoyed playing your game its really cool and interesting mechanics behind it. Solid idea!
Very cool! good job.
I quite liked this! I wasn’t entirely sure what was happening dimensionally when I moved and scaled the slices, but it did feel coherent enough and made for some nice puzzles. Maybe a bit more trial and error than “puzzles” actually, but still engaging. Well done!
Very fun, I got to level 9 before things got tricky. However I don't really know what z and c do I mainly just used q and e. But overall Very fun game. Nice music. If you have sometime, please rate my game aswell.
That was confusing
Just finished both parts. Very cool and unique concept.
The 3D and 4D levels, i think were the same, but they had 3D graphics, so idk if i was supposed to play them differently, but they worked the same.
The only complaint i had was that i didn't really need the 'Q' and 'E' keys, almost every level was solveable with just 'Z' and 'X'.
Levels very hard and well thought. Good job really!
made it to level 7. great idea to bring new plattforms with your own controls.
your design reminds me of geometry dash, maybe you can find inspiration on your designs from that game!
congrats on working with your brother!

Yes, in fact I like playing geometry dash. That's my main gameplay inspiration.
