Loved the whole fixer desk idea, dragging viewed profiles onto gigs is such a fun setup and the UI sells the cyberpunk vibe really well. The voice acting and art were super strong too. I was a bit lost in the tutorial at first and subtitles would help a lot, but once it clicked I had a good time, nice work :D

Developer

thank you!
i will add subtitles for sure!

The concept, graphics, and sound are great. But the tutorial is a nightmare. There’s no way to skip it, no text display so if you miss something, you’ll likely have to start over because you stuck because, again, there’s no text to reference and it’s unclear what to do. The replics are too long and unskippable, and if you get stuck, you have to listen it all again 3 minutes. It was incredibly frustrating. Still, the core gameplay is actually good. It’s a shame the tutorial ruined the experience.

Developer

first of all thank you for the comment and feedback!
I understand your points and they are valid! i will definitely add a skip tutorial option and subtitles after the jam!

A little bit hard to understand at the beginning but thankfully the game is sparing.
The art is really great and it even got voice acting ?! This is so cool !

Developer

glad you enjoyed it :)

The presentation is off the charts! I had a bit of an issue on the tutorial where it seemed I was stuck but not sure why. Everything was running fine after a reboot. Love the music, voice acting and aesthetic. Great job!

probably a bug, i will fix it after the jam :)

Voice actor is MVP in this one, character art is  great too.

Developer

i will pass it along!

The aesthetic is consistent and polished. It would be perfect with subtitles for when the tutorial voice speaks.

Developer

i will add it after the jam :)
thanks

Super slick presentation, the art and voice acting was professional quality for sure. I wasn't great with the gameplay there was maybe a few things I was confused by but overall I was very impressed, awesome work.

i like how the main idea of the game is to identify who can do what based on their files (but you have a limited number of RAM so you have to put faith in them to be successful). the visuals and audio have been polished very well and i like how the game is themed around sci-fi. however, i suggest to add subtitles of the voiceover so i can better follow what to do. overall, i love how this game has executed

Developer(+1)

I will add that after the jam, thanks :)

Cool game, well polished. But the tutorial was so long that it was boring. Some games don't need tutorials, some games need too much. Your tutorial could be 5 lines and it would be enough. Rest of the details were quite fun.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

I'm so impressed by the visuals and audio quality, it's really well made and I can tell  you put a lot of work into making it look good, both to see and to play! The only thing I would advice you is to put some kind of subtitles along the voice over. I feel I could have followed better what the girl was telling me if I could have read the text meanwhile. But I mean it's a game jam, it's already impressive you made this whole game in 7 days, good job and good luck ^^   <3

Developer

noted for the future, thanks !

Very polished and well-made entry.  It was fun going for multiple endings and trying to improve.  A little more RAM might have been nice since you can pretty easily spend it all on just one character.  I did really enjoy the inclusion of well-known characters so that people who know the genre well have a shorthand for what kind of gigs those characters would be good for.

Developer

glad to see the easter eggs paid off ;)

Incredibly impressed by the audio and visuals! Also helps that I've been playing a bunch of Cyberpunk 2077 so I'm a bit of a sucker for this aesthetic right now.

I think the tutorial could've been a bit more in depth to help explain and pin down who would've been a good candidate for a job. Perhaps color coding gigs to emphasize the type of expertise they'd require?

Developer(+1)

damn thats a good idea, might do that after the jam ^^

Overall this is a really impressive game for being made in only a week, ya'lls team did a great work! Especially on the visuals and audio, granted I'm sucker for cyberpunk aesthetics. I feel like the biggest improvement would be a little better tutorial on how the dispatching works, as I was a little confused on how to make a gig successful. Like better explaining what the ram does and how to use it to my advantage or how to figure out who's the best for a gig. Those are my only complaints though, great job on your game!

Developer

i will learn for the next game, thank you :)
