It was really fun and it looks really clean!

Fun game! The different tasks provided variety and kept me busy between feeding larvae, building cells, and fighting off invaders. At one point I was so engrossed in the tasks I forgot to upgrade so that probably hindered me in the beginning. Nice job and fun game loop! :)

Really nice game.

i Just didn't like that if you have the thick comb upgrade, the nest would look completed, it would be at stage 2/3, but you could put the larva there, just a visual thing.

I enjoyed taking the red wasps and just smashing them into the walls

Very creative idea and great execution!

Developer

Okay, thanks for feedback, we don't notice that in development.

Nice game but doesnt support the "trust no one" theme very well?

very nice and polished game  much fun

I really like this concept! Making the player the judge puts a really interesting twist on the “Trust No One” theme.

I like how you’re not just investigating the case, but actually having to make the final decision yourself while everyone is trying to influence you. It makes the questions and notes feel much more meaningful.

The idea of having to rely entirely on your own judgment is really cool. Great concept! ⚖️🎮

A very cool game, an interesting approach to the topic of traitors among us, when they all look the same. I actually had trouble detecting the bad guys, but somehow I managed to survive for a while. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that when the attack happened, it was a bit too chaotic, a lot was happening at once and I missed a little more clarity in it. But other than that, the gameplay is very smooth and enjoyableI also like that the graphics and sound design are so polished, the whole project is coherent and the gameplay is engaging, good job! ♥

Nice little game! I really enjoyed building up my wasp nest and defending it.  It was definitely hard to tell which wasps were the evil ones, but I tried my best to uncover the traitors

The concept is really fun and fits the theme nicely. Great job

Nice game! Love the idea it's really different to anything else I have played so far

Only thing that bothered me if how hard it was to select items as they were so small but that honestly may just be a skill issue

This game is really creative!  I had a lot of fun and ended up playing for over half an hour before it ended up becoming too laggy and eventually unplayable due to the amount of npcs crammed into that small space.

Having an option to toggle the bugs to be transparent or unselectable would be great, as I often clicked them instead of the hive or other objects.  The hitboxes on the objects are slightly small as well, and found that a bit cumbersome trying to use them quickly, but overall it wasn't a major issue.

Super impressive, I would play a longer and more expanded version of this game if it was an option, there was a lot of potential and interesting mechanics in this game.  Overall I found it to be a little easy, and wish the stats were easier to differentiate but still a ton of fun.

Developer

Thank you for playing and awesome feedback.

Good game, the interface and concept are great, but there are some details that make the gameplay a little difficult. For example, the explanations are too long, other thing is that I have to move such a long distance to build the hives. Other than that, it’s a good game, and it has a nice look :P

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, there are some tricks you can use such as, throwing the resources at your wasps to pick them up. They are gonna do the hard work for you.

Seems like a cool game! I like the art and the idea. Sadly it was very difficult to play as dragging the fruits and hive materials to the larvas and slots seemed very inconsistent. But well done nonetheless.

Once I understood the rules it was super fun. The loop is very addictive. I wish each year would be a little shorter so I can upgrade the genes faster.
Great game!

There's a lot of BUGS! iykyk Kidding aside, loved the game cause its good but also because i had a similar game concept that i made in canva lmao (sorry its just funny for me). Anyways it also reminded me of Insaniquarium for some reason haha. I wasnt able to finish the game (not sure if its my attention span or got something to do with the game loop) but i liked it!

I'm one of the play/gametesters who reported bugs, and let me tell you, there were a lot of them. But they fixed most of them, and after an hour of testing with all the improvements, it was just awesome.

The music and graphics fit the game very well.

By the way, once you have all the upgrades, it's just broken.

So this was actually super fun! I found myself zoning out and just going hard on trying to fill the honeycombs up. I've left a couple longer reviews today so I'll try to keep this one shorter. 1. You are one of 2,200 people who submitted out of 17,000. That alone puts you in the top 10% of devs and you should be proud as hell of that.

2. The game loop is absolutely addictive and very fun.

 3. I didn't understand what actually provided the Genes for upgrades or what many of the upgrades would do before being purchased.

4. I could never make it much further past year 1 because the game would hard lag out. Your engine is Godot so I imagine it has something to do with keeping most of the logic in what i imagine is physics_process of the bees. If you are not polling the agents or using a return once they have a task assigned, you are literally making 1 call per frame per entity. At 60FPS that has your little bees making 6,000 calls every second with just ten of them on screen. Thats likely your bottleneck.

If you fix that bottleneck and add a bit more ui polish for the player, I think you've got a very fun incremental game here that I could definitely hyperfixate on as i fall asleep or avoid work during the day lol

Very satisfying autonomous agents. I had some extra strawberries on the way, but couldn’t resist supplying my own, the worker buzzed around and after a second a new baby appeared and got fed.

It’s hard, I only lasted to mid Autumn, but I seem to improve each game, so there is a simple skill worth learning there. I tried reading the instructions, but my mind wandered: what about my game’s this or that, what about tomorrow, just let me look this up. After two or 3 hours of godot idling efficiently I just played, and am glad I did.

Lovely seeing all original assets. I noticed the chonky pixels for an instant, but it was all readable, and especially well made, by a team. I doubt myself constantly: Why would all these people set aside time for a jam? I guess they enjoy each others’ company, but who cares, right? Good game.

pretty good management  game. It´does incorporate theme nicely, though I feel its more orientated towards keeping the hive alive while keeping invaders from it.

We wanted to capture the behavior of wasps in the real world, and I think we succeeded very well. Worker wasps want to pass on their own genes, not the queen’s, so they lay their own eggs, which the queen must find and destroy. And that’s how it works in our game, too. Your own worker wasps betray you.

Pretty good bee hive management game. When the bad eggs started showing up, that's when it gets interesting. Love the designs of evil wasps. The sound design is also well done
