How does the game fit the theme?
You must deduce which gnome on gnome twitter is telling the truth, using the "gnomonic device" of "trust gnome 1"
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Just the font, Blenda Script, and a handful of google images/ambiences

Cute game with a fun premise, clever puzzles, lovely sound design, & a good message for the youth! Loved it.❤️
Really nice puzzle game! Great art style.
Really enjoyed the puzzles. Some of them really made me think and were challenging, good job on the design!
The artstyle is very neat! Music and sounds fit the game well too. The game is very polished. I'm also really thankful for the undo mechanic as it does save a lot of time.
Overall this is a very well done and a polished beautiful puzzle game. Good job!
This is so far my favorite jam entry!!
Usually I am not that crazy about this Sokoban type puzzle game, but the fun objective based formula plus the puzzle solving turns it form a pretty basic game into a very cleaver and fun one!
I absolutely adore the choice of using twitter both as a way to communicate the clues but also to flesh out the world have reoccurring characters, the dialogue is both very accurate to what twitter and hilarious, I found myself constantly laughing at the way the messages are written and the references (totally not cuz I'm terminally online).
It is one of those joke mechanic ideas that I wish I had because this is exactly the way I would write/present it too, it's so peak. I also absolutely love the small details like there being separate themes for checking your phone. the amount of detail and charm on top of humor is through the roof
it is also impressive that you managed to create 30 puzzles and on top of that they are all so varied, they di so many fun clever things with the small amount of mechanics available. the pure puzzle solving aspect was the perfect difficulty for me.
I could only make it to level 27 but that's only cuz it was finally the one puzzle that I found too difficult to get the exact layout of the logs right. I never was lost on what to do, I think they are excellently communicated, I got confused a couple of times but that was because there was some kind of clever pun and it clicked when I read it again
thank you!!
Great visuals and polished gameplay. The theme might take a bit of backseat in this one but its still there and polish makes you forget about it quickly. Great job :).
good gameplay and visuals, and I need gnometwitter in my life
Very chill and puzzly. I kept wanting to write my own tweets!
How do I get uncle eric unlocked from his house? That's were I got stuck :/
(I'm not good at puzzles)
the solution involves placing a log over where the door would be in the house, which also involves a little bit of magic to get the logs out of the way in the right order!
Great Twitter Sokoban game, but the difficulty is quite high!
The last few levels broke my brain. I can't believe you made me open a spreadsheet to solve some of the levels haha
In the last area, I seriously thought for a couple minutes I had to put the second gnome somewhere, but I guess this was the end :0
That's pretty crazy to think this was made in just a week and that the game is completely free! Great work!
These are well crafted levels! I really enjoyed the visuals and the inspiration of it which is sokoban. Nice job! ^^
I liked the visuals a lot. And these posts on gnome twitter got me good a couple of times :)
I didn't realize I would be playing gnome Sokoban today, but I suppose I am. I did think the "next level" animation was my poor gnome being emulsified at first, so I was surprised and relieved to find I had merely won the level. I appreciate the zaniness of Gnome twitter.
genuinely didnt expect a twitter "dont trust social media" game but now i do! i love the art for the gnome and other stuff. good job for your team!!
Nice visuals and entertaining puzzles, well done
Awesome game! The puzzles were very well made though I do feel like the difficulty spike is quite skewed towards the difficult side (but that could just be me). I always find myself searching for answers but once I got it, I received that a-ha moment which is amazing! The pixel art is sooo beautiful and the sound effects are also well integrated! Overall, I really enjoyed this one and I can't believe you guys made 30 levels for this! I felt like I could just kept going and going! Awesome work!
As the guy who did a lot of the impossible levels (and this also applies to the other people who did this) we all come from the Celeste modding community and are mostly also puzzleheads to my knowledge, so the with the process of stitching the levels together being done late into development, there were definitely some weird kinks in the progression that could have been ironed out, but weren't since we're just all comfortable with that kind of difficulty spike. The biggest challenge was surprisingly just getting the gnome 1 thing to be intuitive, but in hindsight it probably rings less true with people less familiar with the sokoban genre, since for more seasoned puzzlers they'd be familiar with everything in the game besides the twitter aspect. Glad you enjoyed so much!
That's fair!! Completely understandable in a game jam setting! I think for me, I'm not a super experienced puzzle head but the gnome 1 clue was pretty clear most of the time, though there are some of the levels that had a bit too vague of a clue. I did find the sokoban aspect of the game quite fun as well
The combination of a mild puzzle-solving experience with a similar Twitter-like information format completely captivated me. I was utterly addicted to this game.
This one’s quite the fun game! I loooooove the idea about a Gnome Twitter! So it was quite of fun to explore that with the little Gnome friend! :)
翻訳しながら遊ぶにはかなりハードだったので、序盤だけ遊んだけど、結構難しくて良かった! 英語が分かったらもっと挑戦したかった。 1週間でよくこんなにステージを用意しましたね。Nice job!
Quite fun, very beautiful art! Amazing game overall. Some puzzles were quite difficult, but that’s probably just my own misunderstanding.
Love the art and the game is well polished. Nice work!
