How does the game fit the theme?
Your character trusts no one, including themselves. They don't trust their own memory, so every rule they've ever set for their own safety has to be followed perfectly, every single night, with no reminders. They don't trust the dark outside the window, the lock they just checked, or the fact that they checked it at all. The paranoia isn't flavor text sitting on top of a normal puzzle game — the paranoia is the puzzle. Every mechanic (rules that stack and never reappear, one mistake resetting the whole routine, a clock that never stops) exists because the character can't trust anything to just be fine on its own.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made all the code myself

The most fun game I've played on this jam so far! 10/10

It was a unique experience, lots of creative touchs in a simple but fun game!

5/5. Definitely will play again!

I like the idea behind the fact that you can't trust yourself while being overly paranoid. It brings two extremes together and combine into one mechanic, that actually needs some thinking to be able to conquer it.

The grid movement works well, although it would have been better to be able to hold a movement button instead of needing to spam it to get to somewhere. Music is atmospheric and gives me the creeps.

Solid idea! It would be nice to have at least the most recently introduced rule shown again after a failure. Or at least leaving the rule text on screen until the user inputs something. I briefly glanced away from my screen and almost entirely missed a new rule.

Aside from that, I love the concept of a “static” puzzle that evolves overtime due to an increasing set of rules. Could make for some really interesting puzzles that require the player to rethink their previous solutions over and over again and provide that “AH HA” feeling that a lot of puzzle games look to provide to their players. Would love to see an idea like this taken further.

Really tense little puzzle idea with a great paranoid vibe. The dev nailed that feeling of slowly stacking rules until your brain starts second guessing itself. The atmosphere is strong, the audio fits, and the progression from easy to stressful works really well. A lot of players mention the same thing though: it is simple at first, then suddenly becomes a memory test that punishes you if you forget even one detail. That is part of the charm, but it also makes some folks feel lost fast. Still, the core mechanic is clever and the execution is clean. Nice work from the dev. (pls play my game)

A fun idea. Well fleshed out by adding different constraints. Can add more tasks too in the future.
