The dialogue text is humorous, the visuals are good, the SFX is amazing, the VHS/CRT filter makes the game a bit more polished. Great game, I hope you get a good position in the results!
Coool game, really like the art and effects and style and vibe! I wish I knew if I was right or not, but maybe that's not the point. Only criticism is that the gavel as a pointer is very ambiguous as to where the point actually is....
perfect gameplay for this theme really liked the ui also the visuals however it was too short but for a solo gd it is okay havee luck

This is probably the best detective game I've played in a bit. I love the fact you have no idea who is telling the truth, as it just makes it so much more real. The note pad is also such a good detail, as it allowed the player just that much more freedom. The graphics were also really well handled, with the static and art style. There was also no bugs to be found in sight. I have no complaints at all. Everything was just in the right place.
Cool idea and concept! I just wish I knew what the actual answer was, or whether my decision was wrong. The clicking and cursor sounds were really satisfying. Great job overall!

Beyond Reasonable Doubt is a clever and very well-made investigation game. I loved the central idea of becoming the judge: reading the case file, selecting limited questions, watching the accused react, writing notes, and then making the final call yourself. It is a great interpretation of the jam theme because the game constantly asks you to trust no one and rely on your own judgment.
The presentation is excellent. The case-file interface, monochrome courtroom atmosphere, gavel cursor, opening splash screen, crowd reactions, and small sound effects all work together to sell the fantasy of judging a case. It is especially impressive to see the art, code, design, and narrative brought together in a complete jam project.
My main suggestion would be to make the post-verdict result clearer. After I reached a decision, I was not fully sure whether the game was showing the actual correct solution or simply confirming my chosen verdict. A short “correct / incorrect” result screen, explanation, or case summary would make the final payoff even stronger and help players learn from the clues they missed.
Overall, this is a very interesting and polished mystery game with a strong core concept. Great work!
i loved the vibe of the game! i think though that you could've said if i was right or wrong, since the game just ends in the second case without telling you, i also liked the cursor. now, this is an EXTREME nitpick but i think it would've been cool if the cursor was located at the tip of the hammer and not at the center. amazing game for it being your first game jam and being made by only one person!

i just launched the game and it just showed unity crash thingy tries to reload but then crashes and just closes application
I imagine you already did this but just in case, after you exctrating the .rar, open the folder and double click on the one that is painted. If it doesnt work, maybe reinstailling? i am not good with this stuff

I liked the idea, but in the end there wasn't a way to know if I was right or wrong and I think it could have been executed better.
But I enjoyed the old looks and I had a decent overall experience!
Interesting concept, i didn't notice there was background sound at first, some music could've helped with building tension, but it was a good experience being a judge, although there wasn't a way to know if the decision i made was correct in the end
The ideas are great, but i don't get the ending, probably because the ending still not completed yet
But i like the atmosphere actually
I recommend to add ending from the judge's choice, either bad or good endings
