Crazy the depth you managed to add in such a short time. I especially like how the pastor waves at me when I click on him

Sound Manager from old project.

There’s so much content in this game!! I’m really impressed by how many systems and details you managed to put together in just one week!
I do feel like I never fully understood how to progress, though TT. After completing the initial routine, I mostly ended up just completing each week and giving sermons. I made it all the way to week 45 and still couldn’t figure out how to confront the vampire while people just kept dying TT
Still, really impressive work! I especially loved Clara’s model and her piano-playing animation! They looked really well done!
An excellent game entry into the jam. did not expect to play a Chruch simulator but this was pretty good!
The stylisation is excellent. A lot of content, several endings, a complex resource management system. Overall a pretty solid game
I’d like to have more control over what happens in the game, apart from the ceremonies and levelling up passive skills. Also, once I’d allocated my routine points, I couldn’t change my choice. It was only when I replayed the game that I realised the "complete routine" button prevents you from allocating points. I’m not sure what this button is for at all.
Also when I tried to play it again, an error message popped up:

I’ve tried clicking in different places. The button itself responds when clicked, but nothing happens.
Actually, I had a similar problem when buying items: the button animation was there, the sound was there, but the money wasn’t deducted and the item wasn’t purchased. But as I understood it, it wouldn’t let me make the purchase if I wouldn’t have enough money left for living expenses the following day
Yeah, i look it up again. Turn out the Routine Allocation can only be changed on Day 1. You will stuck with your choice for the rest of the game. That is a bug.
For the Shop button, looks like the money required for buying things is 11% larger than the price amount or the price before discount. That is also a bug.
Thank you for finding them :)
It's kinda like a simulator, but the animation, UI, visuals, SFX, menu, and music are well done. Good job!
I really liked the UI design, I liked the progression and music! Great job getting so much done with the jam restricted prep time.
Incredibly in-depth game for such a short game jam, very impressive work! I wanted to go all in on a full miracle build but quickly realized that would not work, pretty neat traits on the skill trees too.
Interesting game with a lot of features and content such as skill trees and fast forwarding the day. I like that there's a lady playing a piano as well, it makes the whole feel livelier. I also like that there's a skip and skip all button though I wish clicking to continue dialogue would have the same speed as clicking the skip button. Felt the tutorial could be a bit more interactive as well, like the tutorial could have been some words that explain and guide the player to do something. I think that would be a bit more effective. Overall, very solid game and great effort!
Pretty packed with features, i love the tv show called midnight mass so i was intrigued by your game :D not my kind of game so I don't know how you could improve this type of gameplay, but well done in terms of content given the limited time for the jam!
Don’t talk yourself down mate, you did a lot in this one, the gameplay was not my type of game I usually play, but at no time I said it was bad, quite the opposite, I was impressed by how much you have done, I myself can’t even do 3D games yet, not confident enough! So I’m genuinely impressed with all the stuff you have done, and I can’t judge the writing I didn’t finish the game. But trust yourself, from what I have read else where people seem to like your game! And everyone has room for improvement but self confidence is a must, and you deserve some love from yourself too!
i enjoyed the game, but i wish the tutorial was more interactive. it’s cute that you added cheat codes, though! the game systems are really well designed. the assets and visuals also give the game a cozy vibe, especially with the lighting.
Just played your game! The management system is quite well put together. The game also seemed bug free for the most part. You could not seem to change your allocation/routine. I had no idea what I was doing, and got to week 71 before I decided to stop. Every ten weeks a death would happen, which overtime became tedious. I wish there was more dialogue between the characters.
A feature where you roam the town would be cool.
Still what you made is quite impressive in this short amount of time.
Good job!
Surprisingly feature-packed game for such a short development time. I especially liked the different skill trees. Good job!
Solid loop, with thoughtful mechanics, some bugs i encountered were :
- You can click on the people's name through the menus
- In the end cutscene the "next day" sfx was spamming i dont know if this was intentional
Other than that the game is well made, congrats on making this in a week !
Excellent style! Wonderful atmosphere music😋😋🧡 I really like the completeness of your works. Also, welcome to play our game
Pretty cool church sim! Ngl this church looks like the one from kill bill XD Solid game full 5/5s!
