How does the game fit the theme?
The player trusts the instructions for the door colors, then they don't because apperently the instructions are wrong. But are the intructions wrong?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All 3D models are from Unity Asset Store. Code is written by hand 90%, I reused a lot of my own code. Sounds are from Itch.io, freesound, Kenney.

cute little game. Picking doors is always so much fun. And cute little revelation at the end. I must say that after finishing the game (and receiving the helping secret) I did not quite understand what made each door right or wrong. Are the chinese characters on top of the doors important? (I mean I can't read the characters so I wouldn't know).
The texts are in Japanese and they're just literal translations of the instructions. Thanks for playing!
SPOILER ALERT
That cute revelation ties the mechanics of the game; that's how you would actually see the world in that form. There are 2 "correct" options in normal view, but in true view one of them would look identical to the wrong option, making you only have 1 correct option left.
Finished after 16 attemps. The help visuals did a good job, I had no clue for the longest time, why things worked or failed, but then it clicket, remebering the start of the game!
I really enjoyed the game, it really took me a while to understand how it worked, and after I found out what creature I was, I got even more impressed. Amazing Job with the game :D
10 years in Azkaban... okay, only 16 attempts)) Man, I was scared at the end when I got confetti in the face))) Good game, I was in the flow.
I loved the simplicity of the visuals, the game feels quite polished but maybe a bit short, at first i was kind of lost so a little explanation could have been welcome ;) Overall a good entry, i had fun playing it !
If it feels short then you're either quite lucky, or quite good at the game 😉 I added more info to the description, hopefully it would help others a bit more.
Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!
I think the game might be a bit easy for some people, because since I'm not, I really struggled! Interesting concept, though. But it would have been nice to get a bit of help in the test fail messages (or elsewhere, to avoid having to try every possibility), which can be a little frustrating.
Good job , Meow!
Heyyy no spoilers 😉
I did add a helper feature every few failed attempts (that technically gives away the puzzle) so I didn't think the fail messages need to be more descriptive, but thinking again, the game might be having too little hints.
Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing! Meow2!
Sorry I removed it !
welp imma be honest this is pretty wholesome
Pretty cool and frustrating game. Nice job
The game was boring, it is saying something to do it and I did finish it but it just doesn't make sense.
yeah I reckon I probably should've added more info about the game's intent and direction in the end screen, as well as have more hints overall. It makes sense to me as someone who obviously understands the puzzle and why A is B, but to a lot of people it ain't. Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent game! I took me 22 tries to understand!!! Jajajajaja I really enjoyed the game, Great work!
I love the various music that this game has. I kept failing by opening the wrong door.
maybe I am too stupid for this but I finally did finish it and had fun!
nice game, not my style usually but it wasnt too long so i could finish it
Maomao!! Great reference. Love the calibration at the start hinting the puzzle mechanic.
Maybe I'm the problem but I really didn't understand anything nor how to play the game
The ending and the rerun through was very cool
Got to the end. Clever thoughts indeed.
i was playing the game thinking "why is the character so short?" and dont' want to spoil but was rewarded at the ending when it came full circle! cool plot twist and very interesting idea for the puzzle solution
Very cool concept... Is there an end at this point of the project ? I couldn't manage to go too far.
I loved the style of the game! the game is unique, funny (which not a lot of games manage to do), and cool overall. Well done!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on my game if you have a moment :)
