Your orcs are greedy, treacherous bastards. When your boys loot the bodies and see too much gold, they'll try to stuff their pockets or start a bloody mutiny against your rule.

Lmfao definitely a funny and cool game idea. You cooked on getting everything to work so quickly. People love games like this so could easily see your expanding and opening up to larger areas.
Thank you!
I never did a third-person game and I always wanted to build a power fantasy game, where the player starts with a mighty character instead of leveling up and grinding like hell. So yeah, I could see expanding on this and do something like "Shadows of Mordor" meets "Overlord".
I played and rated In Orcs We Trust; it's a great job for such a short time. I was especially happy to see Oblivion-style map design. Would you rate our game COUNTED, if you have time?
Thanks and good eye.
I am on it.
This gave me serious Baldur's Gate 3 vibes XD I'm starting to feel bad for all the goblins I've killed... Their leaders were probably running around just like me, desperately trying to stop a bunch of adventurers from invading their home XD
The animations are incredibly smooth! I also really loved how, as a slightly oversized monster, you sometimes have to awkwardly shuffle around a little just to squeeze through the hallways XDDD It really sells the feeling of being this huge creature, and it's surprisingly fun!
Thank you very much. I am glad you liked it that much!
Rated!
Had you already rated? Because the rating number hasn't changed.
Yes i rated it abt a day agoish
This is so cool! Loved the game

Thanks! Did you (or the person above) forgot to rate my game?
Played for at least 20 min. Amazing game
Thanks
Hey nice work with the submission. Thought of some feedback/bugs for you:
Overall very neat mechanic with keeping your troops in line. Haven't seen that this jam before. I wonder if it could be used in something other than fighting though?
Thank you very much for the detailed feedback!
It can be used for other games! Just have a look at my "Voice Controlled - Flappy Bird". There the mic works well in WebGL.
Interesting game, I played in the browser so I was unable to use my mic (I was warned tho, so that's completely on me). I loved the fact that I am the strongest there and I don't need to run around trying to stay alive. A minimap would've been helpful because I didn't know where the main entrance and side entrances were and I sorta just walked around like a headless fly (I am directionally challenged, so this is also on me). Gameplay felt very polished. looking forward to future updates with a better UI and some more functionalities like a map if you ever decide to continue this. All in all a very good attempt for a solo dev with a one week deadline.
Thanks for playing!
Yes, somehow the new Unity version struggles with mic on WebGL.
Yeah, I tried to do a power fantasy, feeling mighty, instead of always being the "zero hero".
That's why I have placed world UI indicators with the names of each area and useful information instead of a minimap.
Thank you very much! I crunched some nights to achieve this in 1 week (it was more a 2 week regular work).
But yeah, I can see to continue on this.
Wow a solo game developer like me !
Firstly i had fun. Its need little some good polish and a minimap would be great in this game. Btw i loved it.
overall great game man
Thanks, I am glad you like it.
Yeah, I had to make everything as compact as I could so that it works on a WebGL build.
I know why people like to have a minimap, but I am still on the other side, where the game needs to work without one, so that player play the game and not the minimap, if you know what I mean.
Fun gameplay, the UI could have used a touch of polishing and I wished that the attack went forward facing the camera direction instead of backwards if you attack while moving backwards. you could expand this many ways if wanted. thanks for sharing
Thanks. Yeah the UI is "functional" as I prioritized other gameplay relevant stuff for that 1 week time window.
Ahh, so that your player character walks backwards instead of rotating in walk direction, gotcha.
That is true, one can expand that a lot further.
You're welcome, and I am glad you liked it.
Wow interesting gameplay of using audio to affect the enemies. The game was quite laggy for me. The orcs dont roam or attack on their own. It would be nice to have a mini map. Overall good job! The ambience and assets look great!
Thanks. Yeah the WebGL performance can be quite laggy, the Windows build is much better in that regard.
The orcs only attack nearby humans so that they stay close to their treasure chest to defend it.
A minimap is surely more efficient, but then player keep their eyes fixed on that instead of checking what goes on in the world itself.
I am glad you liked it!
Ohh i see!
I can't yell or my neighbors will be mad. I had fun throwing my orcs around anyways. Well done!
Haha, that's fine, if you can't yell, killing nearby enemies (shows strength) or orcs (infuse fear) increases the orc loyalty too.
Thanks, I am glad you liked it.
Yeah pretty good, a little navigation would help, like minimap or something, though.
Thanks; yeah, but instead of a player focusing on the minimap, I wanted to keep the focus on what is happening in the world by using UI elements in the world at each choke point. Those show all important information directly were needed, while the side notifications tell you were the action happens.
That was my thought. But I completely understand that some players prefer the minimap.
for 7 days thats pretty well done ngl, impressive
Thanks! I crunched several nights to achieve this. If I had worked on it like a normal person, it would had taken me 2 weeks to finish this.
wonderfull game at short time! woow graphic is stunning
Thank you very much!
