what a cute game! I looove the vibe of the deep sea, half expected to get eaten by a sea monster before surfacing. Like a professional gamer, I didn't even read the manual, so I acted purely on instinct, but I do love this lying piece of paper. I would definitly play a game, where you woud have to complete multiple tasks to resurface, maybe face a variety of dangers and death conditions if you trust the wrong intel :D Amazing that you two managed to get a 3d game working in that little amount of time

awesome game, i also did indeed believe every word of the manual for abit

not gunna lie, I trusted the instruction manual without evening thinking about the theme of the jam :D
really well done overall!

Developer(+1)

That manual just seems so trustworthy..

Cheers glad you enjoyed :)

Love the art! reminds me of the submarine level from I Expect You To Die.

Developer(+1)

Ty ^^ We're both ieytd fans so there may be some inspiration there lmao

Really fun little escape room! The atmosphere, visuals and sound were great, and I loved the idea of not being able to trust the notes and manual

Developer

Thanks for playing, I am glad you enjoyed!

Fun escape room. Wish it was longer. While I was playing, when I interacted with any of the panels, my natural response to zoom out was with right click. I think having that would be nicer than having a button we have to click on. Just a small thing though. I also think the theme wasn't clearly shown. Overall very cool!

Developer

This is a good idea, I have seen this, I think it would be a great update..

If only we could zoom with right mouse button and the game was longer, it would be perfect. I liked the idea of wrong guides and notes, I think you can be even more devious with them :)
Very good sfx and atmosphere, it was enjoyable and well put together.

Developer

Thank you :) Yeah I also wish we could've made it longer lmao, and good suggestion about including an ability to zoom

Really fun escape room style game! I enjoyed trying to figure out the various machines while the water was rising, and the setting was very cool. The only issue I had was that I didn't end up needing the manual at all, so some of the "trust no one" theme was lost on me.

Developer

Lol ggs on figuring it all out without the manual though. Though it's debatably helpful..

Thanks glad you enjoyed!

Great game would have love to see some deep sea monster.

Developer

So true, I think would've been a bit much for the jam timeframe lmao but man would it have been cool

Submitted(+1)

I really liked the game. At first, I didn't quite understand the concept, but the game looks great. I liked the visual .

Developer

Yeah maybe it could've been explained a little better lmao. Glad you liked the visuals ^^

Good puzzle, reminds me of escape rooms. I like the atmosphere as well but not sure how it matches the theme

The idea of the manual, and all the notes lying to you is indicative of not trusting anyone. Thanks for playing!

The darkness made it a bit hard to read (its on me i don't have that good of an eyesight)  also fairly simple as well i also like the way you interact with things

Developer

Ah sorry to hear it was too dark, it's a little hard to balance being dark and spooky but not completely illegible lol. There is a flashlight youre intended to use before restoring power

Glad you liked the interaction :)

haha i just clicked stuff and read through the manual figuring out the battery part. after that it was all good

Excellent visual effects! I love this atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you! All thanks to my teammate, great post processing on his side

All the different elements felt very satisfying to interact with. So much to do in a tight little space!

Developer

Thank you! It's all really thanks to my partner, he did all the programming, really brought it together

I was locked in from the moment it loaded up. I think you were very on point with the theme, you can't even trust the manual lol! Even though it was a short game, I had a ton of fun playing it. Wonderful job!

Developer

Thanks so much :D Glad you had fun

The atmosphere of this game is simply incredible. It is a very immersive environment.

Developer

Thank you! My teammate cooked so hard with the modelling and I really wanted to do it justice on my side too

Very good short game, the submarine looked well-created and the audio added on to the setting of the submarine. Good game!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!!

even though the gameplay was short, i really enjoyed escaping to the surface. the visuals and audio really immersed me into being trapped in the submarine which is in the depths. the point-and-click controls are very intuitive, and every page in the journal and every note around the submarine was fun to figure out what actually you should do (my favourite was the "F to not toggle flashlight" lmao).

Developer

Good thing they let you know how not to toggle the flashlight so you didnt try and do that

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, glad you had fun :)

I love this game! Great job!! It really felt like an irl escape room and I really enjoyed the immersion and on-theme gimmick

Developer

Thanks glad you enjoyed :D

Submitted(+2)

Yooo this one was sick :D

Developer
