How does the game fit the theme?
You won't be able to trust what any of the dwarves say, and will have to use other clues to figure out which dwarf is the imposter!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Great game, I thought it would just be a simple spot the difference puzzle but it became a pretty challenging brain teaser.

You can never have too many dwarves!!! The title is fantastic and viral :D
The level with the black pots? (I believe its pots, or at least dwarf told me so) felt a bit brute-force-y to me too, and I missed the kind of interactivity the light puzzle had

ahh too many dwarfs!  had to play when i saw the title haha.  Nice puzzles, I got to the 9th level before I got stuck and started brute forcing.  good pacing.

I liked the extra interactive bit with the light on the (4th?) level.  It'd be nice if there were more different interactive elements instead of just static visual changes.

Neat game!

I would move the start all over of place, since I clicked it a few times just wanting to start from checkpoint.

Also, I didnt get the last one; I write Dark One but it didnt work so idk. I got to him ans since I didnt want to start I clicked the menu and it counted as a failure, wanting to restart it restarted all over and I tried that on the second try

Developer(+1)

I'll give you a hint - Dark One is not his name. His name can be found by searching the levels for hidden letters. ;)

I admit figuring this out is very hard, just thought it would be a fun thing to throw in for anyone that might enjoy the extra challenge.

And good feedback on the start over button, maybe I can move it or make it clearer to help avoid that scenario.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

Incredible game, beautiful pixel art. So fun to see entries like this in a jam. Good job!

Very cool! I liked the puzzles, & very much appreciate the "show answer" button (I needed it many times).❤️

Oh man do I love this game, this was perfect music, art, mechanic. Most of the gameplay was happening in my head and I had to figure out the code. So simple but so well executed. This was put together so well. Very well focused and scoped out. I can tell you are a very intelligent person and good job for doing this all on your own. 5s all around. Would love to see this released.

Wow this really means a lot to hear, thank you! It was my first attempt creating a puzzle game, so it's cool to hear you think it all came out well!

Amazing game! Loved the gameplay

Unfortunatally, maybe because of my poor english, i wasn't able to find easily the impostors on the 10+ levels.

Good points:

- Cool pixel art for everything!
- Creative gameplay loop.

Bad points:

- I find it kinda hard...

Really enjoyed playing, at least the first levels xD. Congrats!!

Thanks for giving it a go!

Yeah levels 11-15 are definitely language-dependent which I agree is an accessibility concern, I was just running out of puzzle ideas at that point haha. I also realized toward the end of the jam that some of the puzzles might be too difficult, so I added the option to reveal the answer for each puzzle just in case.

Glad you enjoyed playing!

This is absolutely amazing!!

This is a really neat take and you made a lot of content for it which great. Some really clever moments and the music is super chill too. Awesome job!

Developer

Awesome, really glad you enjoyed the music!

The game is quite good, theme interpretation is nice, just got stuck on few levels so I did hit and trial... A small bug, if we keep pressing the minions then the kill buttons keeps on increasing. Overall game was really good.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I actually just saw that bug today as well, let me see if I can add a fix real quick

Developer(+1)

Should be fixed now!

Took me a bit to understand the mechanics, but once I did I really enjoyed it. Feels like those IQ tests "find the pattern" questions. Couldn't figure out the colored potions pattern so I kind of brute forced that one.

Great job on the game! Also, loved the music.

Developer

Thanks, yeah that was def the vibe I was going for. And glad you liked the music! I was originally just going to join the jam as a composer, but thought I'd give it a try doing everything since I have a bit of game dev experience as well
