what a nicely made game, solid submission, gj!
Very interesting short and sweet narrative. The visuals look amazing and the story with the ending is really cool. Did not expect that lol.
Guys I can't, I just... I can't trust anyone! :(
just a normal human writing a comment, as humans do you know
Very effective little narrative game!
Story felt like a tumbled nightmare. But the first time I reached the "trusted"-ending understanding doomed and I laughed (and cried) out loud.
nice - I was afraid that this infiltration will be not enough to pass the message about trust no one
Yaaay! I was identified as a human in the game XD And I was accepted into the organization! What’s more, right after I rated the game, it hit 20 ratings. So, I guess I’m officially allowing this game to win. 😂
The immersion is out of this world. I’m really glad I played it!
Love the story and easy to pick up on, well done!
I would have added ambience sounds for each panel (people talking in the bar, traffic sounds etc when in taxi for example) to make it more immersive.
Good game!
i liked the graphics, the dithering was cool. i think maybe some small animations or sound effects between each panel could have been good because i think it switching instantly made it feel a bit rushed if that makes sense?
Not bad at all! Goes deep, and this kind of story navigation has potential. I found the graphics to be a little hard on the eyes.
Interesting story, had fun playing through it. The twist at the end felt a bit forced though, it would be nice if there wer e some throughout the game
The mystery of the story was nice and felt on theme. Idk how many endings there are but I got two of them and enjoyed how each outcome was a reflection of trust and its consequences. Overall the mood was on theme and I wanted to learn more about what exactly was happening in this world. Well done!
I took the funniest option (for me) and ended up entering the humans headquarters! I'm just that good.
The style of the game really hooked me. The story was nice too and the twist fun. It did feel at times like the player choice / branching got a bit forced when the narration got back into the main path. Quite understandable though that a game jam game cannot have extensive narrative trees.
Play-through with more feedback:
thank you very much for playing and so detailed review, I'm just wondering why many people do not choose 1p.m, to get into president square. I fully agree with you I limited many of narrative trees due to game jame deadline. First Idea was to show 2 progress bar red and green that will visualize whether you acting more like robot or more like human, but it will ne easier to understand the answers weight so I decide to drop that.
I think both the jam and the irratic feel that man gives off made me not really trust coming at the specified time (1 p.m.)
Haha, the ending really got me.
Its a little hard to read the dialogue, but I liked it.
I loved the art style, the colors around the letters made it hard to understand sometimes tho. It was a visual novel so nothing to say about special mechanics but you can see the polish and care around it so good job!
It’s okay. The colors make the text hard to read for me but the use of dithered images is quite interesting. Regardless the game is focused on a narrative, which kept me intrigued.
It's cool, even though it's short. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, good work!
Very unique art style, fits a narrative game very well. The choices matter was also very good.
short but fun, art look good
