True ending:
Very polished and nice! I had no idea what to do in level 5 lol
I can't blame them for lying to me, they have little cute smiley faces!! Endgame boss was so strong ;)
Very polished platformer. I think the difficulty level is balanced. Challenges were not obviously easy but at the same time not difficult to understand too. Clean game! Fits the theme just right.
Thank you! Their smiles hide something evil and insidious... or maybe not :D
Awesome, good job. So fun to play, love the jokes and the lies.
Thank you!
This game is super polished. Art style is fantastic. Really fun, music awesome. You nailed it on every front.
Thank you so much!
I absolutely loved this game! The art style is simple but incredibly cute, and the jumping feels really smooth and satisfying. The music is great too! I also loved how every level introduces a different mechanic—it kept surprising me and made each level feel fresh. Really fun experience overall!
Thanks so much for the kind words!
This just proves you can make a game worth playing without fancy graphics or animations. I like this simple style and lighthearted tone of the game. Maybe some basic background would be nice. The signs actually had me fooled a couple of times :)
Thank you! I agree about the background, if I had more time I would have made something more complex than a solid colour.
very cute! It was crafted with great care and was really interesting!
Thank you!
Really nice and polished platformer! I liked the idea that you can’t fully trust even the game’s own rules, and the puzzles make really good use of that theme.
The only thing is that at one point I got stuck and didn’t immediately realize how to restart the level. I think a small restart button on the screen, or maybe a hint after the player has been stuck for a while, would make situations like that much clearer. Other than that, this feels like a very polished jam game!
Thanks for playing! I'll consider adding a restart popup next time, that's a good idea.
smooth controls, nice platforming, and cute artsyle :D good job!
Thank you :D
This was so cute! And I love the creativity you put into it to make a platformer fit the theme. Good job!!
Thank you!
Simple but really effective and creative way to go with the theme. Everyone and everything in the game are liars. Great job on this one!
Thanks a lot for playing! Glad you enjoyed :D
Well polished platformer game. Nice job! Game mechanics were tight and responsive. I just found it a bit hard to handle keyboard and mouse inputs for some parts of the levels.
Thanks for playing! Was there anything in particular you found hard to handle with the controls?
Great job in a short time frame. Perfect length for a jam submission.
Small things I appreciated:
- restarting was fast and polished
- characters animated in very well-tuned subtle ways
- the logic puzzle was nontrivial
Very minor gripes:
- click hitbox on the levers is a bit small
- physics and blockpushing especially is a tiny bit floaty for my taste
SPOILERS:
If it's true that I missed a mega secret ending and there are really 10 levels, then I wish there was a level select or a way to retry without having to go back through the prior levels.
If it's a lie that I missed a mega secret ending, congratulations, you absolutely pranked me. On the other hand, it took me about 2 full minutes to realise that (interesting that I assumed the 'level count' was somehow immune from the 'lies' theme), and I admit it made my experience with the ending a negative one, since I assumed there was a problem with the game.
I know you 'lied' in the controls and so that should have tipped me off to the possibility, but subconsciously I viewed the level count as 'outside' the game and therefore immune from lies. It makes me wonder if it would have been useful for this case and in general to give the rules/level count stuff more 'character', IE have it be presented by a 'character'.
Thank you for the detailed feedback, I'm glad you appreciated the polish I put into the game! I agree with your gripes, I could have tuned those a bit better. And yes, the level count was indeed a fake as well, there are only 6 levels. Thanks again for playing!
I love the simple and cute art that comes with a fun platformer game, a very polished game!
Thank you!
Super fun little game with new mechanics on each level !!! DO NOT TRUST THE PANNELS LIKE I DID GUYS
They are not to be trusted!! Thanks for playing :D
Gotta enjoy a fun platformer, though I also got stuck on level 5 :) It feels so rewarding to figure out the logic puzzle tho. Great work!
Thanks a lot for playing! There is a secret 3rd door on level 5 :)
Love the theme! Super fun to play.
Thank you!
Super cool game! I kept believing in the signs :(
In the end, I found the secret ending. Super cool! Thank you for making it.
Well done on finding the secret ending, not many make it there!
I pushed the block guy on level 3 into the spikes even though that was not at all required.
If he had a family please notify them on my behalf.
Nice work! I dread 2d puzzle platformers in game make me feel stupid in 2 ways but this was built smartly and I extra appreciate a way to opt out of logic puzzles (I did actually solve some tho :))
I'll make sure to notify his family 😭. Thanks a lot for playing!
