I like the idle animations/blinking of the characters! Some tricky puzzles in there

The game crashes for me, so I wasn't able to play, unfortunately. When on the tile with the girl's icon, a message about unity decoding error appears, and then the screen becomes unresponsive.

Developer

Oh this is unfortunate... Sorry about it. Did you give it a retry ? That bug seems to occur very rarely : this is the first feedback I've received on this matter.

Yes, I reloaded a few times, and it appeared again. I tried to screenshot it this time:

I’ve seen a couple similar type of logic games in this jam, but I prefer the way you did It with multiple steps sharing the same characters since something we’ve learned in a previous step plays in to the next decision.

Developer

Thank you for having tested and glad you liked it !

Really fun little game! I liked that it played out like a kind of logic puzzle and if you really thought about it you could figure out who you should trust relatively quickly.

If you end up adding more levels after the jam, I’d love to revisit it! It’s such a satisfying game. Great job!

It was a really fun game! I loved the animations, atmosphere, and sound design. It would be really cool if you added more levels after the jam because I’d definitely love to play it again. Great job!

Developer

I had to think a lot ;-;

Developer

Haha, sorry ! Having finished the three levels just in time for the release, I couldn't incorporate all my ideas. I had some very tough levels in mind for the subsequent ones.

i tried multiple times before passing a level lol. I like the gameplay and it really fits the theme!

Developer

Thank you for testing and for your patience ! I'm glad you liked the gameplay :)

Feels very in line with the theme of this jam. Working through who was telling the truth or lying makes for an interesting  puzzle game.

I couldn't click the button at the end of the game.

Developer

Thank for having tested and for having explored the whole 3 levels. In fact, the "exit" button at the end is supposed to close the game. But as far as it is played in browser, we can't make the game to close.

Clever puzzle design.  I liked that the puzzle is solvable if you think hard enough, but if you mess up you get more information.  It was a very natural hint system that felt good to play.  I don't think the health and timer added anything to the experience.  I think between the lying people and the maze it's a fun and complete game.  Good work!

Developer

Thanks for the comment. Originally, I intended for the loss of both lives—as well as the timer running out—to trigger the end of the game and a return to the menu. Since I didn't have time to take the game that far, the lives don't actually serve a purpose. It's great that you played the game all the way through.

I like these kind of riddles, it felt really satisfying to solve them! I enjoyed it, got through them all as well :)

Developer

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This was really a really cool experience. It's very innovative. Unfortunately the dialogue UI got stuck behind the map, meaning I couldn't read what some of them were saying 😭

Developer

Thank you so much for the comment. I just fixed the issues relative to the resolution. That way, I assume futur testers won't encounter this issue.
