How does the game fit the theme?
You are hunting your target but are also being hunted by a disguised attacker that blends into the crowd just like you

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything from scratch, got the carpal tunnel to prove it lol

Very fun little thematic game, great job! My only complain is the keys you use, not very intuitive for someone who plays lots of games but the rest is nice!

Strong nostalgia on this one!

Very cool game! Simple, fits the theme well, has clear instructions; works really well with the theme as well!

Submitted(+1)

Really enjoyable! I was a little confused during my first playthrough because I didn't understand why I was losing. Good job!

fun game! Sinple but interesting! Reminded me a little of Secret Neighbor, love your style, amazing!

Developer

Thank you so much! Had a blast making it, glad you had fun!

Fun game and fits the theme well. It reminded me a little of Secret Neighbor or Spy Party.

Developer

Thank you!! Hoping to make it multiplayer soon!

I do like the audio in this one and the graphics was nice too. I’m still uncertain of why there was character selection, why I got frozen in place after the kills and why the character wasn’t always running. But it was a nice experience running after and finding your targets. I guess I would have liked too some better reasons for returning and trying the game again, like a best score/speed or something like that.

Very cool of you to make a video, thank you! <3 It was super fun to watch and see real time experience, hope you make a bunch more for everyone else in the jam to get chance to see the same!! Don't forget to scroll down on the game page if you're having any troubles with a game while participating in the jam or have any unanswered questions about the game you're currently playing. It gives me AC nostalgia, great submission!

Love the visual gag of the unlockable black silhouette that just happens to be an actual black silhouette ingame. Really took me off guard.

The whole thing is very reminiscent of games like hidden in plain sight, or assassins creed/watch dogs multiplayer. neat idea. Realising that an NPC is not moving randomly but actually following you is always a nice moment. It's a bit sad it's so rare : most of my deaths were during the short stun right after I killed someone.

Very nicely done overall.

The game have a lot of style. I really enjoyed the presention and the various animations like entering the corridoer

Gameplay wise, I found myself just following the cursor and spamming left cick, so the concept of diguises didn't play too much part for me. I didn't understand if the people I target also target me - it's seem that I died only if I didn't move or spam left click

Still, I enjoyed my time with it, and good job creating so many characters!

Simple but addicting loop. Pixel art was quite nice - great distinction between characters. Controls were a little untraditional (like sprint being right click) which didn't play very well on trackpad. Could be nice to have a keyboard only layout alternative. Good job!

I got hooked right on. Good game!

Really good take on the theme. I really enjoyed trying to find my target but not know who was gonna attack me. Very nicely done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! You're so kind <3 Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for playing! Just having someone play my game is super rewarding but I appreciate the awesome feedback!

Solid. Felt like something you could turn into a real game with more mechanics and levels. Great feel and vibe to it. simple and to the point.

Developer

Thank you very much! I hope to build it into a proper multiplayer and totally agree that extra stages in this setting would be so fun to explore, both art wise and literally lol. Appreciate you seeing a future for it!

Great game man! Reminded me of playing Assassin's Creed online multiplayer back in the day.

Developer(+1)

That's so awesome to hear! Really cool that you played that multiplayer!! Man I miss that Brotherhood multiplayer so much. Going to work on developing this one into a proper MULTIPLAYER game as soon as possible!

Submitted(+1)

Exactly! It was Brotherhood that I played as well. Wasn't sure if other ones had it as well but that's the one I played.

Developer

I think maybe one other one had it. Brotherhood was something special though, and right after AC2. They were on a roll back then

Good take on the theme, I feel like the rules of the game could have been communicated better. Also watch out for the scaling of your art assets, it didn't seem like a lot of your i elements are laying on the same pixel grid.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Loved the pixel art and gameplay, had a blast with this one. Mime main's rise up!

Developer

Thank you so much! Love the hype for the MIME! <3 I actually exaggerated his walk cycle a tiny bit compared to others to give him a touch of personality
